The 2nd appearance of Sometimes opens the show followed by the high tempo of Why Go and All Night. Dissident makes a welcome early appearance followed by Johnny Guitar, which is better than the night before. A good run of songs is next with Faithfull, Lukin, Not For You and the first appearance in 9 years for No Way. Comatose is played unusually in the main set and pretty poor performances of Insignificance and Present Tense are next with Got Some and Go ending the main set.

As with the first encore the night before it's Just Breathe and The End to open. Black, as usual, is fantastic and In My Tree appears again, this time in a surprise encore slot. A good Spin The Black Circle closes the encore.

A "one time one time only" Supersonic called "Supersonics With Lyrics Specifically Designed For The Occasion" opens the second encore and whilst this is a song I pretty much detest I actually like this versions lyrics :lol::lol: Evolution and The Real Me. Porch is slimmed down to 4 minutes long and Yellow Ledbetter with a Star Spangled Banner tag ends the two nights in Seattle.

I've been fortunate enough to see Pearl Jam live.

Surprise opener with In My Tree. It really works too. Save You, The Fixer, Severed Hand all follow before Johnny Guitar gets another airing. Given To Fly and MFC are back-to-back and a wicked Even Flow follows. Amongst The Waves>Sad>Unthought Known works, Light Years is pretty much perfect (slightly amazed they didn't fuck up the intro!). Ed tries to introduce Small Town with a joke but Stone isn't playing along. Grievance makes a welcome appearance, 1st time on this part of the tour and 3rd time in 2009. Following on from the previous gig, No Way is played again and an excellent Rearviewmirror ends a good main set.

I Got Shit unusually opens encore 1 followed by another great Love Reign O'er Me. Next is 'Singles' back-to-back with Breath and State Of Love And Trust. This is Breath's 1st appearance of 2009. It's left to Alive to bring down encore 1.

Encore 2 starts with Last Kiss performed to the fans sat behind the stage and then Ben Harper joins onstage for Indifference. Wasted Reprise/Better Man is next with Yellow Ledbetter left to close the show.

    Good boot this one.

I've been cycling throughg pj's 1992 tour. My favourite shows are vokaultus, Switzerland 6-18-92, -Newcastle, England 02/22/92, 03-04-92 trivoli, MTV unplugged, and city square, Milan Italy 06-17-92.

I love Ed's audience interaction - especially when he reprimands people for being inconsiderate. I also really enjoy the gorge 93 show where Ed tells the crowd (who have been throwing shoes on stage) that he and Jeff are going to beat the sh*t out of all the barefoot people coming out the front gate.

Beyond these - the air canada centre, Toronto shows from both 2000 and 2011 are awesome.
I've been a Pearl Jam fan since I was 13 and first heard Ament's opening to Jeremy on the radio. To this day, Pearl Jam continues to inspire and challenge me to not just be better, but to be great.

Some of the 2003 setlists are fantastic. Ed really switched the sets up back then.

First time that Gonna See My Friend opens a show. Last Exit and Why Go are next and In Hiding is sandwiched inbetween The Fixer and Johnny Guitar in their now familiar early slots for this part of the tour. Green Disease gets played for the 1st time in 2009, Ed apologising at the end for a fuckup saying they don't play it all that often! Following Amongst The Waves and Even Flow, we're treated to a beautiful Off He Goes. Unthought Known and Daughter are next and then Ed introduces Supersonic as a song 'about absolutely nothing'. Present Tense is wicked, Once is played for the 1st time in 2009 and Life Wasted ends the main set.

For the 1st encore Ed brings out Corin Tucker and they play Golden State for the 1st time at a PJ gig, its also the only time its been played at a PJ gig. It is pretty good. Ed playing The End on his own follows before the band come back onstage with Ben Harper for a fantastic Red Mosquito. After Inside Job, Go ends the 1st encore.

Encore 2 begins with Evolution and then a blistering Not For You. This is followed by Black and Porch and the familiar end of a gig of course being Yellow Ledbetter again with a Star Spangled Banner tag.

Really enjoyed this show. With all that happened at Roskilde, and what I can only imagine what must have happened leading up to the band getting to the point when they could actually walk out on stage...it just blows my mind.

Incredible emotions, and the love acknowledged by Ed at the end of the show that the band received from the audience...wow! After hearing this one again, especially the band's performance as good as it was, I'd put this one in my top ten PJ shows of all time...considering, most of all, the significance of their future as a band, being able to go on, not only on that particular night...but, for as long as they have!

Amazing night for all that were there, I'm sure of that!
