What happened to your taste in music?? :fp: Also, it looks like very few people from the US are willing to cross the border for some reason. Not sure why that is.

Well, as somebody who just crossed the border over the last 2 days to see Jay Z / Justin Timberlake in Vancouver (no comments from the peanut gallery), the border, and traffic in general, were absolutely miserable. Took over 5 hours both ways. I'm glad I picked Portland as my fallback show this tour instead of Vanc, not sure I could handle that drive again.
Yeah, the traffic is shit (although the border lineup would usually but not always be pretty okay in the middle of the week (we're going into a long weekend this week, hence the heavier border traffic this week), and if you know which route to take, it wouldn't be bad once you're over it either... for me, the traffic suffering starts when you're getting close to Seattle).... But I'd do it in a heartbeat to get to any US show. But sure, if you've got Portland and Vancouver to choose from and you're in Seattle, Portland is by far the easier option... although Portland is not sold out either!

The train is the only way to travel between Seattle and Vancouver. There's a beer car for your drinking needs and the price is very reasonable if you get your tickets early. Plus it's a beautiful trip.
    Yup. An awesome trip.
    Greyhound is another cheap option.

Where can I buy these train tickets online?
    http://www.amtrak.com/cascades-train

Pretty good price - $30 one way.

max capacity of the showbox is 1,100....getting tix for a final show there would be quite the scenario

Then it would have to be 2 nights @ The Show Box. With rules! It will be a 10club only shows for sure. But they will only offer single 10club tickets. 1 show only per member. Can't do 2 nights. So you're randomly picked. You won't be able to decide which night. 10club will make the draw & surprise you. So 1,100 lucky 10club members get night 1. The other 1,100 lucky 10club members for night 2. You won't be able to do both nights. Seems far right?

Ok, back to Key Arena Night 2 wishing well ...

Try upgrading to first class 18-$21 dollars more but much nicer! Still less than $50-$55 to travel from Vancouver to Seattle in comfort.

I'm pretty sure they do all customs in Vancouver so no hassle at the border :)

December highway and border traffic will be minimal for those travelling north to Vancouver.

Last night I tried the site to book a ride. It's $30 regular price for the early ride ($40 dollars for the rides after). Duration: 4 hr, 0 min . If I wanted the upgraded business class seat, it's another $22 bucks. Being my first time, I'll go the cheap route.

That's what I did for Vancouver last time PJ played. It was $25 each way. I haven't done first class before, and probably won't for such a short trip. Can't make the trip this round, but will see everyone in Seattle.

    Sounds great!

I'm a big guy so the upgrade to first class is welcome, the price makes it even more doable for us.

I would recommend it as a much cheaper alternative to flying.

I wonder how many of us are on the same early train the day after the show to Seattle?
