Mine was Adam Sandler at the Rosemont Theater in like 1996. It was the We're All Gonna Laugh at You Tour. They actually taped that show and it became an HBO Special. It was pretty fun!

Alanis Morissette in 1996 and I was 12 years old. I was short then, and I don't even remember seeing her face, just her long hair waving around  .

When I heard the Jagged Little Pill album as an adult, it was like fingernails down a chalkboard, so whiny!

I also saw her around then. And Radiohead opened, of all bands.

That would have been a funny combination for a concert!

AC/DC - Edinburgh Playhouse, Jan 1986 with a friend. I was 14 and we had to stand on the seats to see them. Those cannons were deafening. I couldn't believe Angus Young was so close, we were 8 rows back and awestruck for the full show! :D

  • KISS, on their over-the-top "KISS 3D" Psycho Circus tour back in 1998. I was 7. It was the first event I had been to at the then-new CoreStates Center, renamed First Union Center, renamed Wachovia Center, renamed Wells Fargo Center.

The moral of this entire story is to never have your sports arena named after a bank.

Bruce Springsteen - Madison Square Garden 5/22/88 :)

It ruined the next few concerts I saw - I expected them all to have two sets and go on for three and a half hours! Seriously, I went to see Robert Plant the next year and complained how his 90ish minute set was too short

His first 2 albums were pretty good. Very Zeppelinesque. After that, not so much.

New Kids on the Block in 1990 I think haha.

First rock show was Metallica in 1997.

In 1996 I had tickets to see Butthole Surfers, Toadies, Horton Heat and Supersuckers but the damn thing got cancelled. And, I still never did see Butthole Surfers :-( That would have been one hell of a concert.

When I was 8 years old, summer of '92, my 19 year old sister wanted to take me to a concert, and gave me the choice between Van Halen or Def Leopard. I chose Def Leopard because Ugly Kid Joe was opening and I loved Cat's In the Cradle and I Hate Everything About You (great song still). Man do I regret that choice; Van Halen would have been so much better!
