    only 'problem' on this board is the people who make ignorant posts like yours.

    I don't think that's true, and actually your posts have kind of been the most toxic ones posted today. Sorry, not trying to attack, it's just true. :oops: There are a few complainers on the boards that can be really annoying - big sense of entitlement - but again, they are a tiny vocal minority. For the most part, the fans are not toxic at all, and they don't live only for PJ, even though they really love them ... There are very few people around here who only listen to PJ and aren't big fans of other artists (lots of artists and musicians around here too!). :) But if someone DOES live for PJ because that's what makes them happy, What's it to you????

    When I had a good amount of disposable income.. I went to multiple shows.

    And I'll admit, it was awesome. It was great to see PJ on back to back dates.

    I wouldn't say I was gluttonous though. For me, it's how I chose to spend my time and money. It was my 'luxury' if you will. (And a damn fine one at that too) :)

    That said, I haven't been to, or really gone on any formal 'vacations.' I don't smoke, I don't do drugs, I don't drive a nice car. All that stuff.... when I had money or when I saved money... it went to Pearl Jam. (which by the way, if you read some of my other posts is why sometimes I get upset at the 10C for the heinousness of some of the merch and prices, and shipping etc.)

    That said...

    This year, I'm going to one show. And am perfectly fine with that. If people want to travel the globe, see PJ 20 times a year. That's fine with me and I think it's awesome. If someone wants to attend one show. That's perfectly fine. If someone wants to not go to shows... but come on here and follow the setlists (:p) that's perfectly fine.

    It is full of things "happy"

    I am happy I have a job

    I am happy that I am finally in a position in my life to be able to travel

    I am happy I have a great wife who enjoys the same things I do

    I am happy that I have the freedom to spend my hard earned money on whatever I damn choose

    I am happy that most days, I dont get called a "toxic spoiled brat" for this

    I got some lottery shows, but the others we are just happy to be in the building with everyone in this great community

    I have met lots of people.. most of which would give you the shirt off their back if you needed it. spoiled? no..
