I am sort of new to all this but my cousin is never on the message board but is an avid fan with many PJ items
he just recently asked me to put his prized sealed Benaroya Hall vinyl on here.

I need honest opinions about what is the going rate for those

can you guys help me out?

he also has the complete 2000 tour, 72 bootlegs

$800 was one board members price to fellow Brothers. Especially when you're saving eBay fees and that whole hassle.
Seemed like a very fair price to a fan. If you want more, no need to waste the board members time and take it to EBay. The greatest market in the world where you will get top dollar! Assuming u didn't know these details; I hope it helps. Let me be the first to offer this price:-)

For a sealed Benny I wouldn't be surprised to see upwards of 1k.

2000 bootleg set probably round the $700-$800 mark.

It seems that this vinyl out of any of the PJ vinyls is sealed. Whenever I searech this vinyl most of them are sealed. Why? What is the joy of having this still sealed? Anyway, it is not my business and I hope the OP gets what is wanted from this...but can the new owner please open this and play it?

Conversely, where's the joy in having to flip/change the record every 16 minutes, 8 times, to enjoy one concert?

True..but then why have this at all? I am a lightweight audiophile but I think some heavy hitters would disagree. I like vinyl and I play it...I just cannot imagine not opening this.

I'm unsure if this got a vinyl-specific mastering, but other than that, I can see no other reason for owning it other than it's limited edition-ness and resale value.

I own around 100 or so vinyls and it's not even close. This and the Ryan Adams - Live After Deaf are the best sounding music you can listen to. Also, the Phish repressings are fantastic as well.
