So is Seattle 2 a pipe dream?

Well personally I'm very happy. I picked Seattle reserved seats as number two (behind Vancouver ga, which I won) and lost.
This is great for me as I'll have a chance at night two tickets trough the lottery (if they have one)
I am greatful my girlfriend won night one on her draw so we still have a chance at night two.
Not the fairest way I understand, but we are both huge fans and won multiple shows in the lottery.
Make Seattle II our 7th show this year!
Announce it already!
Funny how it said "due to overwhelming demand" and Boston isn't even sold out fully yet but Seattle and Brooklyn were sold out in mere minutes. Kinda guarantees another show for Seattle (as its the only spot that realistically has a chance besides Boston, and possibly Albany or a second Hartford show.)0 -

But looks like it'll be the same rules like Worcester 2.
A 10c only show would be cool, but I don't think it can be pulled off in an Arena show. Ticketmaster has ways of making extra revenue when they control the tickets. They generally have a rule of restricting fan club to 10% of a venue (10c has had moderate success in getting a bit more, but even that's been on the decline). Ticketmaster has a financial interest in getting access to as many tickets as they can. Ticket fees, and selling blocks to brokers gets them extra money.
If PJ wanted to do a 10c only show they'd need to find an independent venue which isn't very easy in the 21st century. There are regions that don't use TM, but there regional ticketing agencies usually have similar rules and processes.
You would need a venue that does its own ticketing or a very small ticketing agency (so close to independant) which rules out most Arenas/Stadiums. Maybe theatres or small arena (like ones use for junior hockey?).
I guess i'm trying to manage expectations. I don't know why people kept thinking there was a snowball's chance in hell Seattle II would be fan club only. The industry doesn't work like that, and there's no way Ticketmaster would allow it.0 -

Yea they do! Granted its been a while, they do play 10c only shows sometimes.0 -

My point, exactly: they haven't done it in quite a while. And I agree with Zod, above. The monster ticket agencies would refuse it in large arena settings.0 -

Yep! Here's a thought ...
Seeing that they just added a new show after the first lottery was over many day's back (Worcester 2), it kinda sucks & sad if they do add a 2nd Seattle show on Dec 7th, and not Dec 5th if the rules are applied like Worcester. I say this cause if they do play on Dec 7th, it would be PJ's last USA show of '13. Many of us picked Seattle as our first choice to see PJ close the tour during the lottery. The date was for Dec 6th. Now for those who scored 10club tickets to PJ's last show via lottery (Dec 6th), are now not gonna see PJ close the tour with their 10club tickets.
For Seattle, their home town, I'm hoping 10club are able to secure 2X's plus the amount of 10club seats to the 2nd added PJ show & able to let the folks who entered the first lottery a chance for tickets, if Dec 7th is their last show of the North American Tour.0 -

I lost out on the lottery even though I picked Seattle as my 1st and 2nd Priority, so I may be a little biased in saying I would prefer it if they announced the second show for a day after December 6th and let it be available only to Ten Clubbers who lost out on the first show, because I worry too many people who already got tickets the first time around will end up with the second show and the same Ten Clubbers who got shut out the first time will get shut out again.
In 2011 I was able to snag Eddie Vedder solo tickets to his Seattle show when there was only one scheduled. Needless to say, they sold out quick and many Ten Clubbers missed out. They announced a second show, and only allowed Ten Clubbers who missed out on the first show to buy tickets to the second show. What ended up happening is while I felt I went to an incredible concert, I missed out on many great Pearl Jam songs that Ed only chose to play on the second day. I instantly regretted not swapping my tickets in exchange for the second show. So I can relate to why you'd want to go to a second show as well and want access to tickets to both shows. I just don't think they will provide that sort of access, though.Member Number: 437xxx

My guess is Seattle 2 may be the same as this.
Unless it is a fan club show
I am assuming I did not receive this email from 10c because I did not try for tix for the Worcester show (???)
Just curious - thanks very much for posting!0 -

My mistake... Was the beacon a surprise show or a last minute show? I remember it was a big deal when it was announced.
Is this the show with really big ticket prices because of donations?
Wasn't there a fan club only show in 2006 in NY?0 -
Should be people who got shut out of night one as 1 or 2 priority. After that they should be residents ofnwashinton..if they have remaining tickets left it should go buy people who stayed within their states. Meaning, they were not greedy0
