Love it.
And so you see, I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.

Don't hold your breath, don't close your eyes.
I've learned to breath and I've learned to fly.
I've learned to see and I know I'm going higher."
  • Agreed. It owns me!!!

The audio on this is pretty decent. Can make out some lyrics.

Is this like Force of Nature part two? Looking forward to a decent youtube vid. Middle sounded a bit rubbish, but loved the ending.

Disagree. This is better than 90 pct backspacer
Middle part was a lil rough but beginning and esp end were awesome

    "90 pct Backspacer" means?

I was mainly talking about the lyrics (and future days first and foremost).

What happened to the Tremor Christ songs? Where you sort of build up the meaning of the song in your own head. Mind your manners was on the right track but damn... those Backspacer shallow and generic rhyming lyrics.

I feel the difference between Given To Fly and Amongst The Waves is quite telling, agree that the lyrics have become rather shallow recently which Ed seems to think is a good thing for himself as a writer. Not sure it's a good thing for us as listeners.

you know what makes me sad? The fact that I got a funny feeling that most people on here are going to shit all over this record when it comes out. calling it Backspacer part 2?? so what Backspacer was a great album, was it their best....no....but still great. This band has been giving us great music since 91 and for all of those who haven't liked a thing since Riot Act, why are you still even on these boards? I mean really.

From what I have heard so far I think the new album is going to fucking rock, but don't worry I'm sure most will be bashing it right from the get go.

Easy there mate...getting worked up over the thought of people bashing an album that isn't even out yet?

People on these forums need to chill the fuck out!
