    I'm not getting worked up, I just like coming on here and reading positive post, but when it comes to new music, most seem to be negative.

    Hey you want positivity? Mike's bit at the end of that song sounded awesome from what I could tell from the youtube clip. It's a great indicator that he'll be given more freedom on the new album instead of the more tight 'patterns' he played on Backspacer. We all know what a great guitar player he is and I personally have been waiting to hear him rip it up again in some indulgent noodley soloing for ages now.

    I don't get this either. Why he talks about it like it's a virtue. He's gone from being a very good, inconsistent but occasionally great lyricist to being, well, predictable and unintelligent

    That having been said, overall I think I like this song a lot. I think I like it better than MYM. But haven't heard either enough so could completely change my mind.

    This song, to me anyway, definitely sounds like it belongs on Backspacer. Definitely not much progression from the last batch of songs on this particular track. Unless the studio version is more full and interesting, it's in the "bummer" category.

    This song alone, with the drums, Mikes guitar work, sounds better than 90% of anything on Backspacer.

    Not gonna happen. This song has good promise from what I can hear.

    I think the song is like the child of Who you are and Unthought Known. :)

    I agree the song sounds like Back-spacerish. I dont say it as a bad thing, I love Backspacer. It is promising that there is more playing and jamming and Mike solo in the song.

    So far, Pink-Floydish album of the year is QoFTSA, IMHO.
