  • It looks like some people are actually leaving??? Or is that just people that were hiding under the building?

Anybody know what the policy is for late-night Cubs games? I keep wondering if they might make an exception and let the guys play super-late.

There's an infamous Braves game that they used to show on ESPN Classic that was rain-delayed and went 19 innings, ending at like 4:00am. It was July 4th (then 5th), and they shot off the fireworks immediately after the game. (And the Braves' stadium is/was near a residential area.)
that game was at Fulton County Stadium in Atlanta and they played the Mets
That's the one. I'm assuming Chicago might be more hard-nosed about that kind of thing than Atlanta is/was.

This has all the elements of being a perfect storm - pun intended/don't care to see if anyone already said it - of being a massive instant classic/epic/phenomenal set.

It's now 11:08 ET. I think they left approx 9:40 or so ET? They took the stage a bit after 9 ET.

I think the concert permits and the agreement with the neighborhood association are likely very strict. Sports are a different animal

If they're still gonna play the whole setlist, it's possible they'll run out. They'll either stop serving at a certain point in the show (like at most shows) or at a certain time of the night when the bars stop serving.

getting a pretty awful storm here north of Buffalo. Certainly adds to the mood

that one came through my neck of the woods, it`s been fierce all day, 3 storms

We got it too in upstate NY. I was out in it unintentionally and it took me 3 tries to get home, due to 2 roads blocked by fallen trees. Ottawa radio said 8000 people without power. Our Internet is out due to the storm so I can't watch the webcam.

yeah there has been some wind damage here all day and cities around southern ontario, alot of heat lately so it`s no surprise we were due
