If 10c wants to do something about it and cancel their tix or membership...here's the exact seats up for sale. Should be easy for them to find who owns those seats, no?

    Field N Row 15 Seats 9-10
    Field N Row 16 Seats 13-14
    Field H row 4 Seats 11-12

the others were smart enough not to list exact seat #'s.

Hey 10C, cancel their tix, membership and release them!

With seat numbers listed, 10c should definitely be able to cross check and cancel memberships...if they want to hassle with it

Unlikely with pairs being sold, it's not like someone sold their extra single. It's scalpers that won the lottery, picked up their tix and then took them to the SH last minute drop off site. Without question. Hopefully a 10 clubber wouldn't be stupid enough to sell their two tix to some shady looking character on the street for face value.

The funny thing I just thought about is those tix were probably bought by a scalper from a 10c member. The scalper went ahead and listed the tickets with the seat numbers I bet!

I've seen a few shows at Wrigley, had great seats, I get a certain satisfaction from telling a scalper to F himself ( literally, not mincing words) done it a few times over the years. It's quite liberating, I highly recommend doing it at least once.

I don't blame them. Thousands of dollars for their CONCERT tickets could make a big difference in their LIVES.

I wish this concert hadn't turned into this fiasco. I want to go listen to my boys without feeling like I'm throwing away bags of cash because I didn't sell my tickets. And maybe walk away from the night with a pretty poster. Is that soo hard to ask?

    I need a drink.
It's OK, It's OK...we've all seen better days

Sure there is, a Ten Club gate with paperless ticket entry.

Yup! Tom Waits does this for literally every person who enters his show. You show your credit card as you enter the building, they run it, print the tickets and rip them as you go through. Absolutely zero opportunity for scalping.

His venues are about 2500 people and it runs perfectly efficiently, shouldn't be a problem for a couple thousand more.

  • 10 clubber short on funds sees how much his tix are worth...heads to the venue to grab his/her tix..sells the pair to a scalper outside for 1k. Scalper lists that pair of tix on stubhub for 1k each...I imagine a little of both is going on.

I feel like I would at least rather sell to a well-healed superfan than a scalper if I was going to scalp my own. Hopefully most 10clubbers selling are at least selling to other fans

  • Normally I would agree.....free market, you pay for tickets from the TC. Your property to do with as you please.

However, part of your agreement as a TC member is to not resell tickets for a profit. If you can't live with that, don't be a member.

Its the whole spirit of 10c tickets. So the best fans can secure the best seats. People who breach that should be tossed.

Unfortch it is likely going to get worse with lottery paired up with ga sections

I honestly don't see why people can't sell the tickets they paid for. 10C can sell us $90 hoodies and overpriced dog collars but folks can't sell their tickets. They won a lottery!

They'd have to get some kind of authority with StubHub to investigate the user account, and then match with 10C accounts. And seeing as selling legit tickets is not against StubHub's policy, I'm not sure the 10C would have any authority on the matter.

With so many people involved, paperless tickets is a bit hard to enforce, as it would create a nightmare for queues before showtime.

The % of tickets being sold on StubHub is so small that there really is no point in wasting time/resources to pursue it further. If anything, only 250 tickets for sale would indicate the scalpers have stayed away from this show. I would say most of those tickets are people who would like some extra money, but will happily go to the show if they don't get someone to bite.

I couldn't find a ticket for the last night at the Spectrum. I started looking on Craigslist and found someone selling "10 club" tickets. They were asking $500 each. I copied the link, emailed it to the 10 club 3 hours before the show and they cancelled his membership, transferred the tix to me and I picked them up at will call. Best show I've ever seen! Thanks 10 club!

    Anyway...it's an idea....

This really sucks out loud! 10C tix are for fans, not profit. Perhaps 10c tix should also have the lottery winner's name on it and verify that the name matches the person when entering the venue? Going 1-step further, make the 10c tix winner also choose a name for the second ticket at least 4 weeks out.

At least do an immediate entry (with entire party) upon picking up the hard tickets. Similar to what NIN is doing for its fall tour presale tickets
