    Stop complaining!!

Sick of all these complaining threads!! Merch lines are to long, it's hot, it's going to rain, I couldn't get a poster, shirts sold out, the lottery sucks, why GA, scalpers are buying tickets, why did tenclub do this, why did they do that, blah blah blah!! Oh my goodness!! Just shut up already!! And deal with it!! You want to get into the show then find away! You don't need a scalper or stubhub to get into the show! Shit my friend flew out of Mex without a ticket in hand and was able to buy a ticket at face! WTF!! Next time be more prepared... next time use your energy to find a ticket instead of using it to complain on the boards.... There are probably over 40,000 tickets to this event... you guys want to complain about a few hundred scalpers, probably way less then a 100 resellers, and you want to blame them for your problem...WTF.. :fp:

I don't blame them. Thousands of dollars for their CONCERT tickets could make a big difference in their LIVES.

So could walking into a bank and stealing thousands of dollars. Do you condone that too?

It's against 10C rules to sell 10C tickets for over face. If any member does it, they deserve to be kicked out.

most relevant post of the entire thread!

In all seriousness, this was bound to happen sooner or later.

yes, it sucks for those people like myself who entered the 10C drawing and the public sales and came out empty handed.... but what are you going to do about it?

there are people out there who are determined to do as little work as possible to make a living. They don't want to work, they would rather take advantage of situations/circumstances/anything within their grasp to not have to earn an honest days pay... it's sad that all the technological advances we've had in the last 30 years have only made it easier for them to do so, but that's just the way it is.

I used to get mad at scalpers... to this day, I will still do my best to be mean to them and fuck them over if I have tickets to sell.... but it's really not worth the effort. Just feel better about yourself that you work and make an honest buck rather than putting all your efforts into taking advantage of others...

as for the people that sell the tickets... well just remember that not everyone has the same circumstances in life. while someone offering me or you $1k or more for my ticket to this show wouldn't get them anywhere because we make a good living, doesn't mean that's the same for all.... that $1k might make a huge difference in someone else's life.

    that is all.

    enjoy the show people.
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

E-mail tickets at tenclub address and shut those guys down. Include links to the various sites.

And hope these guys have numbers lower than yours!

At some point you have to leave your self righteous beliefs at the door... this is one of them.

Since I'm not attending the Wrigley show, nor did I attempt to try, can someone please explain to me why 10c tix are being distributed the day before the show. 10c policy had always been pick up on the day of the show. Sure, the 10c window is always open a few hours before PJ hits the stage, giving ample opportunity to scalp at the venue. But, unless there was an exception for the Wrigley show, I don't see how any 10c member could know the location of their seats until tomorrow.

I was wondering the same thing. I am sure it was written somewhere, I just must have missed it.
Also, any 10 Club Member re-selling their tickets for more than face value deserves to have their membership taken away because it's in the rules (as in literally written down).

How to fix it? Print 10 Club members names on the tickets. Require 10 Club Members to enter in a special line and check ID. No ID means no concert. It's very simple.

i would say their distributing them the day before just due to the volume of tickets. wrigley houses 40K people and 10C claims that they have secured more fan club tickets than ever before... means more to distribute.... pretty simple.

you see what is also happening is because of the lottery system scalpers have joined this and many other fan clubs and now with ga floor areas and a disproportionate rate of new members getting seats because of the lottery very high fan club number members who are scalpers now have access and are selling them for big money. with no ga you would not have the prime seats going for big money. and even for this tour they can advertise under someone elses name ,pick up tickets day of show and deliver again for big money. something to think about.

This really sucks out loud! 10C tix are for fans, not profit. Perhaps 10c tix should also have the lottery winner's name on it and verify that the name matches the person when entering the venue? Going 1-step further, make the 10c tix winner also choose a name for the second ticket at least 4 weeks out.

Splendour in the Grass Festival in Byron Bay has your name & DOB printed on the ticket. To enter you need photo ID that matches to your ticket. If you want to resell your ticket you have to go through the organisation and request permission. Apparently they use to have a massive issue with scalpers.

Yeah, ok, but people are posting about this ticket situation ruining the show. Sorry that is fucking ridiculous.

Since the seats seem to be on the field, it's helps make the point that the lottery didn't encourage scalpers to get multiple accounts (which I think is silly, anyway).

This is primarily members that have been in the club for at least 10 years.

Also, distributing tickets the day before is helping them do this.

For the fall tour, it won't be nearly as prevalent.
