Ticket Lottery Statistics Survey
I'm interested in breaking down the outcome of the ticket drawing today. I created a survey at Survey Monkey that let's you do some pretty cool filtering with the results. What I'm mostly interested in is how many people chose a certain show as a specific choice versus how many actually won. This also allows you to view overall percentages, such as how many people chose a show for each choice, and how many people won specific choices.
The survey is here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PRVF9JT
Unfortunately, I'm the only one who has access to filter through the results (since I created the survey). However, if I pay for a month subscription I can share the results via a web URL and everyone will be able to filter through and check them out.
Of course, this relies on people actually going in and entering their results after the drawing today. Is this something you guys are interested in doing? If so, I don't mind paying the $17 for one month so that the results can be shared.

It would be very cool of 10c to share the stats with us...My 22 shows:
1996 - Toronto
1998 - Montreal, Toronto
2000 - Montreal, Toronto
2003 - Toronto, Montreal
2004 - Boston I, Boston II
2005 - Kitchener, London, Hamilton, Montreal, Ottawa
2011 - Toronto I, Toronto II, Ottawa
2013 - London, Seattle
2016 - Ottawa, Toronto I, Toronto II0 -
cool idea, you could post the data here for others to analyze rather than purchase a subscription for public access - that said, if you purchase a subscription, be sure to cancel after a month, otherwise they will continue to charge your credit card in subsequent monthsbuf dtw buf sce yyz tol grr yhm yyz pit yyz yyz pit bna cae aus lax lax san phl phl cle buf mke mke atl pit buf clt san lax lax gsp cae bna sea sea blq bna aus aus lga lga0

I was thinking about this last night but thought it might be too late. I have a membership and could post the results if you want to shoot over the questions. It it's easier to pay the 17, then I'll just fill it out. I was interested in which shows people chose as #1 so others could balance their requests out.0 -
Cool idea but can you only add 10 for each leg? I selected 15 for my 2nd leg. It would be interesting to see if anyone scored tickets with a very high pick.0
-
Maybe think about adding a N/A option ... say if your #1 choice comes through, that could make your #2 or #3 choice not applicable (as opposed to losing).
Or at least people could not include any shows which weren't really a win nor loss.0 -
this a great idea...don't be afraid to post results...i will be fore sure..

I originally had it at 15, but I'm thinking it's probably not likely that we'll see any winners past 5. If we do it will likely be a few outliers, but if we do see a lot I can update the poll.St. Louis, USA 10-05-2004 | Chicago, USA 08-23-2009 | Indianapolis, USA 05-07-2010 | Hartford, USA 10-25-2013 | Lexington, USA 04-26-2016 | Chicago, USA 08-20-2016 | Chicago, USA 08-22-2016 | Chicago, USA 08-18-2018 | Chicago, USA 08-20-20180 -

Why would new members sign up if all of the tickets are going to the lifetime members? I've been a 10c member for over 5 years but that apparently gets me bupkiss on tickets. This system is fabulous, IMO. And I put Brooklyn as my 9/10 option. I probably didn't fill out the form in the most effective manner.
I put GA as my first option and reserved seating as my 2nd option. So I have 10 options total going from:
Charlottesville (GA & R), Charlotte (GA & R), Baltimore (GA & R), Brooklyn (2 shows GA), Brooklyn (2 shows R)
Anyway, this system is much better than the one where I get in to get tickets but the site freezes up and my tickets expire before I can place my order. It also beats the one where the same people get all of the tickets.0 -
Entered my results into the survey!

Great idea. This could be the info most of us were looking for to some degree. In my case, we were only looking at 2 shows. The amount of other people trying for the same show would not have changed my choices.

I did this. Won Vancouver and Seattle reserved, so the GA choices for both shows were no longer applicable.
*bump* Second leggers, get all up ons in this survey, ya' dig?!0 -
Just entered my info. Would love to see the stats.
This lottery is crazy. Was one for 10 (well, eight since I went for both NYC shows) in Leg One but two for two in Leg Two.
I don't want to complain, but I'm disappointed I didn't get more Leg One, specifically my two local shows. But based on what I've been reading, I should just be happy I received anything.1998: Auburn Hills (8/23) | 2000: Noblesville (8/18) | 2003: Tampa (4/13), MSG (7/9) | 2004: Boston (9/28), Toledo (10/2) | 2006: Boston 1 (5/24), Boston 2 (5/25) | 2008: Mansfield 2 (6/30) | 2010: Hartford (5/15), Boston (5/17) | 2013: Wrigley Field (7/19), Worcester 1 (10/15), Worcester 2 (10/16), Brooklyn 2 (10/19), Hartford (10/25), Charlottesville (10/29), Charlotte (10/30), Dallas (11/15), Oklahoma City (11/16) | 2016: Raleigh (4/20), Boston 1 (8/5), Boston 2 (8/7) | 2018: Boston 1 (9/2), Boston 2 (9/4) | 2022: Quebec City (9/1) | 2024: Wrigley 2 (8/31), Boston 1 (9/15), Boston 2 (9/17)0 -
I only entered for Seattle and I won my first choice of reserved seats. Totally shocked. Just got to book flights, a hotel and time off work!0

Just put in my info
lost out on both seattle shows, but got my #3- Dallas reserved. Will be interested to see the results!"Sun sets on this ocean- never once on my devotion."
