If you think i am incorrect.

Ask yourself ..."where is the outrage of blacks killing blacks on a daily basis in America? Where are the above mentioned voices for these killings?"

....becaues there are no monies to be gained.

I still don't enough about this to make my own judgement 100%.

But it seems as though there is some serious reasonable doubt with the laws we currently have. So it makes sense to me.

The thing I think everyone of us should be upset about are the laws in place that can allow/encourage this to happen and the thug life attitude that encourages this to happen as well.

We don't live in a video game, it's real and people will die when shot. We need to stop glorifying the thug life, mostly in the inner city and minority communities. We also need to stop the nonsense with guns. There is no reason to take the gun out of your house to go follow and check on someone.

Things arent black and white my friend. Or they are if you need to meet quota. Cops see blacks as criminals. plain and simple.

Cops are brutal by nature. How can someone walk around with mace, batons, guns, handcuffs tazers and not be going on a power trip and just itching to use that stuff?

I think you may need to consider using the word "some." I'd hate to see you get too lost in your own propaganda.

See, cops are not brutal by nature. That is just preposterous.
But perhaps some cops are brutal by nature.

Cops dont see blacks as criminals. Quite a bold statement.

You are aware that there are black cops too, right?

    WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

    I know, insane right?

So, according to musicmylife's logic since there are black cops, and cops think all blacks are criminals, then they see themselves as criminals too. Got that?

This case did seem to gather a lot of media attention given the variables it had to work with and story lines it could spin. This was definitely a tragedy, but on a daily basis... there are seemingly dozens of even more disturbing and equally tragic killings that nobody outside of the local area hears about.

where is your proof that obama has anything to do with this?

speaking of obama and the witch hunt on him, what happened to the irs scandal?

funny how when word got out that he targeted liberal groups with the same scrutiny as the tea party groups, the controversy went away...

i guess his comments on trayvon from months ago is today's outrage for those suffering from ODS...

They count...the problem is - they do not get significant tv time for their words.

If ohsjm had stated their reactions on air waves. Few would have learned about it.

You will find no argument with me on this point.

  • People comparing this case to any other cases of black on black murder or black killing white murder etc are missing the point. In most those cases there is a quick arrest and people go to jail for life so it was not comparable to this case.

This case was about the Stand Your Ground Law and how it applies to an armed man vs an unarmed minor. When there was no arrest for two months and those sound bites started to leak it did look bad at thet time and I could see why the black leaders started to push for an arrest. I mean an unarmed 17 year old was dead and it seeemed like no one cared. And it was in the south so people were suspicious.

After the arrest the only reason why there should have been any racial discussion is that the Procescution had to prove that Zimmerman was stalking Martin and to do that they went with his racial profiling past and how Zimmerman said "THEY" always get away with it etc.

What makes this case interesting to me was the fact that it was so UNLIKE any story I've heard in a long time. I learned a lot about the Stand Your Ground law and how it can easily be manipulated to help get away with murder. I mean leave no witnesses and who's to say you weren't being attacked or feared for your life. People should be protesting this stupid law and not the verdict in the trial.

it seems to me that legally there should have never been an arrest.
