Sorry, I only have Benaroya Hall on CD.. I didn't realise you meant on vinyl.

Why would anybody be talking about the CD? The CD is dime a dozen

What's the big deal with vinyl anyway? I mean 20 or so years ago people would have laughed at you for wanting to own an album on vinyl instead of on compact disc.

I guess it's the everything old is new again craze like those goddawful 1980s fashions which are back. :p

I doubt there's anybody out there who owns just a vinyl copy of a Pearl Jam album. Everybody has the CD's. They're just collectors items

Hmm... I still have four unplayed Christmas singles sitting in a cupboard. :)

Pity that they're probably only the last 4. If you had a 91 Xmas single then maybe you could get a bit excited

Yo-yos are fun.. they've been around since the 1950s.

If I see one more teen or twenty-something girl or guy wearing those stupid white or coloured framed glasses (and that includes wayfarers), fluoro t-shirts or bubble skirts I will bitch-slap them.

Let Me Sleep is 91. Angel is 93. They're worth a spin every now and then. I love listening to Pearl Jam on vinyl because the sound is so different than on CD :)

  • Baaaaaaaaaaahahahaha!! :D Have just caught up on the last coupla pages and have been pissing myself laughing nearly the whole time *sigh* need a coffee break now

    Good Morning/Afternoon!!!

I am also concerned, Rob  Having 3 children.....and not being a scientologist - what would I be able to do if a crisis arose ?!
I think I should go video myself babbling on about bullshit for nearly 10 minutes (shouldn't be hard ;) ) and send it off as an application to become one.

Brendan - you could do much better than Perez ;)

and Stuart.....I too believe that children are our future :p

    How to win $5000...
    News - January 15th @ 7:05pm

I find it wildly ironic that not sooner than a week after the whole GAME1 shenanigans, I'm promoting a competition where you could win $5000.

Our friends at SPE6TRE (who own the Gamersworld forums we post on) are running the competition on the behalf of SEGA Australia, and all you need to do is download the Xbox Live demo of 'The Club', and get the highest score in the Sprint mode.

This is something that not only the competitively-minded player can get involved in, so enter the tournament here and join in the fun..

Excellent stuff. Thats just round the corner from the Criterion. In fact my bus stop is 5 metres across the road so every day I get to look at that magnificent holy structure.

I did walk in one day to get some introductory brochures (a piss take on a mate). I struggled to explain that I was not ACTUALLY interested but in fact just 'fact finding' for a friend who was 'interested'. I so struggle to not let them know what I thought. Their bus pulls up out the front all the time - some interesting AND normal looking people get off
I'll ride the wave where it takes me.

Here's a script for you guys.....

Don Jon: What's your problem, Kazanski?
Oz Jammer: You're everyone's problem. That's because every time you go up in the air, you're unsafe. I don't like you because you're dangerous.
Don Jon: That's right! Ice... man. I am dangerous.

Top Gun knew soooo much about Tom Cruise's future!!

    Also.....
    [Discussing Maverick]
Viper: Let me ask you something, if you had to go into battle, would you want him on your side?
    Jester: I don't know, I just don't know
Ice Man: The plaque for the alternates is down in the ladies room.
Ice Man: Maverick, it's not your flying, it's your attitude. The enemy's dangerous, but right now you're worse than the enemy: you're dangerous and foolish. You may not like the guys flying with you, they may not like you. But whose side are you on?

    Top Gun knows too much!!

Now....worst case scenario......if they manage to brainwash you into becoming scientologists - would you like us to perform an intervention/exorcism?

Well as everything seems to come around again in 20 year cycles I predict 1990s grunge will be back sometime after 2010. I can't wait.
