    hahah! Sorry Stella.... you know I am an old skool 20 fan.... but everything after the mad season album.. actually, that album onwards... i just never got into. really did like em heaps back when i was a youngen.

    and i dunno about the purdy bit :p its all crazy !! I cant help myself! im so new at it and all the flashy lights have me all ditzy... will have it all Rocked out soon enough!

    I'll check it out today as I'm not working. I still remember the crappy old turntable I used to play my Elton John records on when I was a kid. I wonder if my mother still has it? ;)

    Hey my first record player was a portable one, Ive still got it....its about the size of a small school case. Like a kinder kid would use...to play albums u had to remove the lid so they would fit...it also was mono....hehehe.....
    I would love to get my hands on one of the space age design stereos from the 70's....they came in bright plastic colours like orange and yellow...and they looked like a space ship....they came in 3 parts...I always wanted one as a teenager...and I still do...hehehe

    Got my Xmas single today! Now I just have to buy a record player!!! :o I haven't properly listened to any of my singles....my old record player made PJ sound chipmunks! Time to pull my finger out and get one.

    Did anyone see RHCP on Sunrise on Tuesday morning? Their new film clip with Chris Rock? Supposed to be a "dance" song and they're out on the street for a "block party"--- "Hump-ty-dump" or something like that?

    All I can say is "what fucking happened to RHCP??? That song was SHIT! Their new albums are SHIT! I loved Blood Sugar Sex Magik...I liked Californication (but it sort of got ruined due to too much attention and airplay). I CANNOT STAND their new stuff. By the Way is absolute shit, Stadium Arcadium is fucking terrible. A lot of the songs sound the same. WHAT HAPPENED????

    Basically I was at a small intimate Pearl Jam concert which was for female fans only. I was in about third row and the next thing I was in a crowd of women who stormed onto the stage so that they could be close to Eddie. He was smiling and dancing with us. A few of us were touching him and Ed reached out his had and grabbed mine. He had the softest skin ever! I turned around and there was Stella grinning at me saying "Mike's skin was softer you know". Then Ziggy appeared saying "I touched Eddie before you did .. na na na na na!".

    Now it comes to the really funny part. Ed was speaking to us without a microphone and he had the WORST voice ever! He kind of sounded like a cross between Donald Duck and the Chipmunks! I screamed "what happened to your beautiful baritone voice, Ed?". He just laughed and said "it's fake, the voice you hear through the microphone at concerts and on the albums isn't real.. this is my real voice".

    I basically started crying, then woke up.

    I couldn't have said it better myself Zig. I LOVED all the RHCP songs from the 90s ... now they're basically a dance band. That Hump de dump song is about the only one on the new album I do actually like. The rest sounds like the same song repeated over and over..

    I didn't notice Ed wearing any bling.. just that he waves his hands around a lot when speaking. I'll have to watch it again now. I love listening to Eddie. Thank god my dream wasn't real! :)

    hehe. His voice kept changing .. sometimes it sounded like The Chipmunks, then at other times it sounded like Donald Duck. I was so pissed at Ed for being such a fraud all these years! We were all screaming and Ed was just laughing.. It was a nightmare!!
