That's incredible. I had forgotten all about him. He might have the most interesting life of all of the Seattle musicians.

Wow. Great read! So much stuff I knew nothing about! Which is rare for me when it's related to the old Seattle music scene.

Very interesting. What a life. And he shares the same "thought some other dude was my father" thing with Ed.

Was cool to read. Enormous accomplishments this guy had.

SOme musicians have a tendency to be multi-skilled. Like Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden, check him out when you have time.

Wow, thank you for bringing this story to our attention. Amazing. Thank you Jason for your years of service to our country. Amazing how this worked out. Life just works in so many mysterious ways.

Oh, and Bruce Dickinson is my #2 favorite lead singer....my 12 year old son found religion and it's called Iron Maiden LOL. I'm lucky he's so into a band I like. Just wish he liked more Pearl Jam!

I checked Bruce Dickinson page in Wikipedia again. Looks like they refined the first sentence. Originally, it was like, musician, pilot, writer, publisher, broadcaster, company manager... went on like that.

Maiden is great. They will have a gig in Moscow in 2-weeks. Kind of like due date of my first baby.. Still find myself checking the tickets. :?

Sorry from OP for derailing the thread somewhat.
