i am not impressed with chicago beer

yes, i am wearing my flame suit

To each their own. Have you checked out Half Acre at all? Besides the usual 3 brews that they have in bars and liquor stores around Chicago, they have a ton of different beers at the brewery. It's about a mile away from me so I'm over there pretty frequently. Revolution has a few good ones. I'm really looking forward to the Lagunitas brewery and brewpub opening up in the fall I think it is.

Kansas should be Free State Brewing Co.

Texas should be Shiner & Lone Star split right down the middle.

I haven't been in Oregon long enough to vote, but Widmer is a good choice.

Rolling Rock was brewed in Latrobe before InBev bought them. Now it's made in St. Louis. Sam Adams was using the Latrobe plant for a little bit. Not sure anything is brewed there now.

Troegs will be topping the PA list soon

looked at this stuff today in the booze section of the grocery store. i wanted to buy a bottle just to have a bottle of this stuff. i also thought of reselling it as this stuff is not readily avalible. however, many have been reselling this, "templeton rye" stuff & the law is cracking down as it is illegal to resell which seems odd to me.

The batches aren't quite as small as they used to be. I live in Des Moines and you used to not be able to find the stuff about a week or so after a batch was released. The last one they put out must have been huge because it's on sale everywhere I turn around. Even Walgreens!

Maryland is wrong. It should be National Bohemian (aka Natty Boh) even though it's made by Pabst in NC and GA now. And Heavy Seas should probably even be 2nd over Flying Dog. But Flying Dog is definitely top 3.
