    You're kind of defeating the purpose of vinyl if you rip...even to a "lossless" format.

    Heh, my thoughts exactly.

    I thought the point of vinyl was to listen to the actual vinyl.

    I'm no audiophile, not by a long shot, so maybe I'm missing something...

    But vinyl rips come across to me like nonalcoholic beer. What's the point?
