I just got home from a camping trip, where I was helping in the cleanup of some beetle-killed lodge pole pine trees. It was really cool at night, down to about 30 degrees. And the first night of camping I always have trouble sleeping - it seems more like a series of short naps. So I take my PJ filled ipod with me. The first night the coyotes were really active, yipping all around camp. But at some point in the middle of the night, Arc came on and as Ed came to the end of each musical phrase, the coyotes would yip, seeming to join in the song. it was so amazingly cool, and I had a huge smile on my face. It was a shame that I was the only one who got to enjoy it. And the sun it may be shining . . . but there's an ocean in my eyes0
