    what did you see
    if I only knew
    I would give it all back to you.

    somewhere deep in the forrest of my mind
    you saw the painted angels unwinde
    with eyes wide open praying for a sign
    they saw you crying golden tears in time.

    inside the forrest of my mind
    there is a crack in the sky
    broken from constant attack
    by those who do not understand.

    painted angels fill the sky
    flying in circles in the forrest of my mind.

    if I only knew
    I would give it all back to you.

    each like a wave pushing you back

    a riptide lie that pulls you further out

    over your head and hard to breath

    the sound of rushing lies

    mutes real words

    with each

    coarse salt fills your mouth

    gag and swallow rotting your stomach

    tears fill your eyes

    it's hard to see

    truth

    you are drowning ...




    can you find the calm waters?

    lay on your back

    relax and just be

    you

    that is all that we need ...

    thoughts under those golden penny curls
