“I’m trying to stay as even-keeled as I can. In the car I’ve got XM Satellite radio, I’ve got the E Street Band Channel on and I’ve got the Pearl Jam Channel on, and those are the two things I listen to,” he added. “No Jays Talk.”

    Well he is a great GM and this just re-affirms how great he is.

    I bought a flex pack and backloaded all my games til the end of the year!

    As for the Jays - Yes the team has been shitty, but we are only 2 games under 500 now, and on a 8 game winning streak (9-2 for the month of June). As long as we don't forget how to play when we start facing AL East teams again (we have 10 in a row starting tomorrow), we'll be ok.

    How many years have the Yankee's been absolute SHIT during April and May and ended up winning the division or getting the wildcard?? Many times. I still believe in my Blue Jays. I'll re-evaluate again at the all-star break. Which just also happens to be Pearl Jam week!!!!!

    The jays will flop again! Bunch over overpaid has beens, they don't care.. Who would want to play in toronto in a Canadian baseball market it's silly!

    They werent a silly market drawing 3 million a year during their world series years while the yanks couldnt touch 2 million. So then the yanks become great and draw in the high 3 millions in the mid 2000's, while toronto sucks and can't put people in the seats. My point is, toronto was one of the best baseball towns in the world when they were good, we just havent seen them be good in a while.

    They Jays tend do that ever year. They get streaky. They'll go on a winning streak, look really good, then they go on a losing streak.

    Hopefully with the new additions this year we get a bit more consistency. It's been about 20 years since we've been in the playoffs..... there's always hope :)

    Check out what game is on the 16th... You wont have to worry about missing out on watching too many jays that night. :lol:
