Identity Thief. We ordered it on demand last night. I have seen several trailers and thought it looked funny. It was :D And I know a new defense move now
  • Tonight, I saw an advanced screening of World War Z in 3D, which I won in a contest a few weeks ago. It was better than I expected, but the 3D was not needed. I'm glad to have seen it though.

philly area had an advanced screening as well about a week ago and guess who showed up? Brad Pitt! There were two screenings and he went to both theaters and talked for about a minute each then left. Would have been cool to see since it was right near me at the King of Prussia theater.

Apparently he went to 4 cities that day too.

    To the wonder.

All movie, Olga Kurylenko was dancing around herself like a retarded which was an act of showing her love to Ben Affleck. Got bored the hell out of my mind.

Prior to that, watched The place beyong the pines. That was good.

    Much Ado About Nothing

Joss Whedon's adaptaption ... for shakespeare's lovers - this was a modern day adaptation of the tale in shakespeare prose ... looks like him and his brother did the music too using shakespeare lyrics to put in original songs ...

always takes a bit of time to get into dialogue but once in - it moves wonderfully ... the acting is pretty good as this is a comedy ...

Funny you said this: it wouldn't have surprised me if Brad Pitt made an appearance in Toronto as well but he did not. Again, I thought the movie was better than I expected, though I never read the book. When my buddy first saw the trailers for WWZ, he thought it was going to be terrible. He too, thought it was a lot better than he expected, but he also thought that the 3D was not needed. This movie will be, in my opinion, a "hit or miss" at the box office and wouldn't surprise me if the reviews will be very mixed when the movie is out this Friday. On a related note, this was the very first time I saw an advanced screening.

reviews have been very good for this film ... it will do relatively well in this season ...

brad pitt continues to be part of quality projects ... if you go to any actor/actress and see their history of films - you won't see too many people have the scores he's got on rottentomatoes ...

Note that the movie is not officially out yet and when it does, there will be a lot more reviews posted on rotten tomatoes.com, which will give a better idea what the overall average of World War Z will be. But like I said, I thought it was better than I expected and I'll keep that opinion for myself.

 :? It's a strange documentary about this guy first falling for and then busting and calling out a crazy woman who faked this elaborate fantasy life online for his benefit. It's kind of fascinating, and reminds you that there really are some nut jobs on the internet. Beware. :? ;)
