Not including the Beacon.
What are people's thoughts. Never mind which boot will be the best. What was the show that everything clicked: setlist, crowd energy, band energy, environment before and after the show.
For me, no question, Bonnaroo. Non festival date: Mansfield 2. Honorable mention: Columbia
Best songs: Hard to Imagine at Bonnaroo, Bee Girl at Mansfield 2. Honorable mention: Betterman (not my fave song) at Roo and Mansfield 1, Not for You at VA BEACH.

Setlist wise, Hartford
VA Beach is extremely underated!!
I'm def getting DC, wish I could've seen that one
I only went to four of them, but I'm determined to get all the boots ... I have three already...once I get, and digest the rest...I'll get back to you with my opinion of which show was best ... what a difficult task, but I'll give it my best shot.
...I was always a DeadHead, but when I first heard Winston Rodney, aka the Burning Spear, sing, I became a SpearHead too!
well said! Why is nobody talking about the LONGEST SHOW OF THE TOUR?! Killer setlist, killer energy, great show all around.
agreed had an amazing experience that night it was a classic pj show for me anyways... Out of the 4 shows I attended I have got to say DC was the better show out of Hartford, DC and both Camdens.
Sha la la la i'm in love with a jersey girl
I love you forever and forever
Adel 03 Melb 1 03 LA 2 06 Santa Barbara 06 Gorge 1 06 Gorge 2 06 Adel 1 06 Adel 2 06 Camden 1 08 Camden 2 08 Washington DC 08 Hartford 08
That being said, the 2 I saw were the best ;-)
Washington, D.C. - 2008
Philadelphia, PA I - 2009
Bristow, VA - 2010
Baltimore, MD - 2013
Milwaukee, WI - 2014
Hampton, VA - 2016
I'd agree. MSG 1 and Columbia were sweet. Mail these damn bootlegs!
What Bee Girl has going for it is that it is rare. It is not a good song. Don't talk about Bee Girl being the highlight of the tour, especially when WMA and Who You Are returned.
Yep we have to endure all of the Mansfield, Camden, and MSG crap from the spoiled fans who don't leave the northeast to see shows so they disregard everything else.

Who the hell are you to say that Bee Girl is not a good song?
Since you went to the 5 shows I'm considering getting boots for, maybe you can help me narrow it down! Definitely getting MSG1/2 (since I was there) and Hartford. Am I missing out big time if I don't get either of the Mansfields and if I do get only one, would you suggest Mansfield 1 or 2?
Thanks in advance!!
and i went to camden both nights, both msg shows, and dc...(and beacon)
At MSG 1 I was surrounded by drunken baffoons who were spilling drinks and pushing around; it was a huge distraction that prevented me from really getting into the show. I'm anxiously awaiting the boot so I can hear the show without the distraction to get a better sense of it.
MSG 2 was awesome for me; just shy of Roo....
I agree: your personal experience at a show hugely affects how you perceive it; many times I've been at a concert (not just PJ) and kind of felt meh, but others there in a different location thought it was the best show of their life.....
So much music, so little time....
There was just something about that show that made me come home and say that was the best Pearl Jam show I have ever seen. I have been to enough shows to know good from bad. I think my signature says enough that I am not just a pass by fan. I got to see a lot of songs that I have never seen before. Or songs that I have been lucky enough to see and to see again was incredible. God's Dice, Brain of J, LAST EXIT, In Hiding, Not For You. That first set was such an amazing thing to witness. 2nd Set. How could you go wrong when they pop out Atomic Dog. 3rd set.....
I thought it was classic and they were just rocking.
Note: Since this show I have been listening to VS and No Code pretty exclusively. I would also be putting in Yeild if I could find my copy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved all 3 shows. They all were intense in some many different ways. The 1st encore for me was awesome. Mansfield I: I have never seen Reign o'er Me, nor Comeback. Betterman. I watched last night from youtube and I'd have to say that I was pretty honored to be part of that moment. I think it said a lot. Not only did we belt out the song to the band in their honor, we gave them a 1 minute ovation. It gave me chills all over again. And to be back at Great Woods was kinda nice.
Mansfield II WASH, MFC, Satan's Bed, Whipping, Glorified G, Education. All you people that piss on Bee Girl. Go fuck yourself. You are all jealous end of discussion.
The whole weekend felt like 1995 all over again. I do not know how else to describe it. Only that it was fun. I did some crazy things. I was safe. I was kind. I got to party like a rock star for 4 days. I would love to do again next Summer.
Put down the Kool-Aid. 95% of PJ's songs are awesome (an outside observer would think I'm drinking the Kool-Aid too). But compare Bee Girl with the Pearl Jam catalog. Does it stand out? I don't think so, and it would be a difficult argument to say that it does. It stands out live only because it is rare. I didn't hear ANYONE on here in their wishlist for the tour ask for Bee Girl. I heard the following: WMA, Who You Are, No Way, Breath, In My Tree, Rival, Pilate, All Night, Hold On, All Those Yesterdays, etc.... So to say that Bee Girl was a highlight of the tour (unless it was just personal), is crazy. We got All Night ,WMA, Who You Are, Red Mosquito...... If Who You Are had been played once than I bet the highlight mentioned would not be Bee Girl, but Who You Are. Instead, since Who You Are was not rare on the tour, it was not highlight worthy.
