    did the crowds enjoy kngs of leon? was their much reaction Im sick of great bands opening up and half the crowd outside drinking beer happened with sonic youth this tour.

    I saw a Syd 2 poster in ebay it was different to Syd 1 poster

    Nah the place was maybe only 1/5 full - if that. They got a good reponse tho.

    I was at the local last night chatting to some older folk (early 40s and only casual fans) who went in a big group and they all said that they thought PJ were amazing, sounded so tight and were full of energy. These guys were nearly as amped as I was - yes I still got a smile on my head.

    Two of the lads are big KOL fans and said they were up playing air guitar and screaming away. They were the only ones standing in their section (first raised area behind dancefloor) and a group of grommits threw ice at them a few times to sit down. One of the lads walk about 10 rows but and in between songs said to a group of them "If I get hit by ice 1 more time all of ya are gonna end up hurting and you'll find your girlfriends shove down between some seats at the end of the concert. Its a rock concert - dont dare tell anyone to sit down" The ice stopped.

    Funny tho whilst we were all talking (raving) about the concert last nite, several locals said they had no idea PJ were even touring and would've gone if they had've known.

    yeah i was talking to the guy who owns the record exchange, a very cool store (for brisbane anyway) well yeah i thought this guy had a good music knowledge, but turns out he didnt just not know PJ were touring but that they were still together! and when i said yeah they are still together, he said "oh but not the same lineup, right?"

    thats awesome story about the ice haha.. thats what rock n roll should be about not sitting down... Its sad that some people especially up in the back parts sit the whole time c'mon sit during the encore thta is your break. That put a smile on my face.

    Yeah the way he told it was even funnier. Had me in raptures.

    He followed up by saying (in a horrified and serious tone) "Besides Karen who is pregnant - who the fuck sits down at a rock concert? Especially with the energy that PJ had. Im 40 mate and I did twice as much moving as most of the young kids" Top stuff.

    i wish i was in brisvegas! after the 2 sydney shows i just want to keep going!
    will just have to wait until monday in melbourne.

    MR rang my house last night but I was at work :mad:
    He then sent me an email to tell me that tickets to Newcastle were in the bag :D
    I have to ring him this arvo to get details.

    He also said in his email that Ed was quite pissed off with the crowd at Sydney 2
