My biggest question about those Catholic based Christian religions is the whole thing about being able to do some really shitty stuff to people, up to and including murder... yet, truely believe in Jesus as our Saviour and pin all of your bullshit on Him... and you get to go to Heaven. But, someone who does not accept Jesus, such as a Jew or a Hindu or a Buddhist or a Muslim or Atheist... even if they are the definition of kindness, selflessness and forgiveness... gets the Lake of Fire.
That is why Christianity never stuck to me (in my several attempts to embrace it).
Then, there some of the followers. I don't understand how someone can claim to follow the teachings of Jesus... yet, fail to be 'Christ-like' in their lives.
    ...
For me... I found that the further I got from religion... the closer I got to God (or Nature or The Creator or Supreme Being or Omnipotent Power or Flying Spaggetti Monster or whatever you want to call it).

For sure. As far as I'm concerned, the number one identifier for the Catholic religion is extreme hypocrisy.

I believe there always was hope... it's just that religion wants us to believe otherwise.

And confess your sins to some other child molester through a screen.
