How many times does this happen where you go to the market buy some fruit that looks really good you get home cut into or bite into it and yuk it has no taste , yesterday i bought a honeydew melon and its tasteless what a waste of my $$$$$$$$$ they should really have a tasting table where you can try before you buy it no ? ....
fucking pissed so what do you do you can't bring it back man i guess the only way to go is the organic route , what happened to the good tasting fruits maybe it's just where i live ...

I can't think of a fruit with no taste but to me cauliflower has no taste. I do love it though.

gotta wait to actual in season/harvest. Hit up the farmers markets, roadside stands, etc Too much of our fruits and vegetables are mass produced now and much of it is imported from other countres. Overseas even. The get gassed to speed ripening , like Bananas. They get harvested far too son to develop their natural flavors._____________________________________SIGNATURE________________________________________________

bad fruit that looks like it'd rock irritates me to no end. example... getting a bad watermelon. that is enough to make me wanna scream & i do. uncrisp apples are worth throwing over the fence at one's neighbor. oranges all old but still appear fresh piss me off as they are dried up & taste like a calculatorfor poetry through the ceiling. a lot of fruits are stored for MONTHS before they get to the grocery.
My dad goes to Wenatchee to get apples and gives me 50 pounds every year. They are softball sized, so juicy and sweet, you need a paper towel to eat one. You will never see apples that size in a grocery store.
Gotta go to to a farmers market or local farm to get fruits/veggies. i've hauled countless loads of apples out of Wenatchee, so many it is ridiculous, and cherries... Washington apples are prized around north America. i used to haul cherries & apples to texas/mexico border where i'd meet a mexico truck driver who got my apples put into his trailer. florida got Washington apples & Washington got Florida's citrus... works well like that.RKCNDY wrote:a lot of fruits are stored for MONTHS before they get to the grocery.
