Who was at these shows? They were absolutely incredible. I've never spent more for a concert ticket at $300 each. But it was well worth it. Just look at the setlists. They weren't promoting an album so the setlists were all over the place. Porch as the second song? Present Tenese as an opener. And the debut of Gone. Amazing. Then of course followed by the great show in Philly on October 3rd.

(besides the 4 Philly '09 Spectrum shows) These were the 2 greatest shows I've attended! I also dropped $300 for each night, but I got right in front of the stage and one night Bob Saget was standing next to me, so it was pretty awesome! Every time I hear "Gone" I think of those nights!

Hahaha yeah I remember seeing Bob Saget come in at the very end of the show. A bunch of us were yelling "Full House!" at him. I heard from a few people he asked to get backstage but the band said no. Rightfully so.

Expensive show but incredible, best show I've been to yet. Slightly drunk, wondering where the hell Eddie is singing from, then realizing he's in the crowd, 5 feet away from me, singing to the girl standing directly behind me!!! I could have sworn it was Black but it's not on the setlist, probably Elderly Woman or Better Man ?

I also had an amazing Borgata experience.. I "talked to" Mike, Jeff, and Matt while walking around the casino for two days..

I actually only had a ticket for night 2.. I think I paid $95 on ticketmaster. I spent the entire day 1 hanging at the casino trying to get tickets from fans and at the box office. Some familiar faces/10C members, at least at that time, where trying to sell tickets for over 300 a piece and I refused to buy. I was only 20 so I could not gamble or drink. When showtime for night 1 rolled around, I took a bit of a risk and actually ended up getting into night 1.

I slept in my car in the parking garage that night and easily got into night 2 because I actually had a ticket..

The one moment that sticks in my head is, after being unbelievably pumped to get into night 1.. Long Road opens and then the slow Porch intro.. when Porch picked up "Would you hit me... ooohhhhh" I thought the roof was going to blow off the place.. Beer was flying.. a few people were crowd surfing.. an unreal experience..

I remember seeing Saget.. I was almost on the rail on Stone's side.. he was up in a little VIP area, but he wasn't in the show for that long..

The band was so tight in 04 and 05.. playing rarities and doing some different things with songs..

This was also at the height of the fan base really pushing to hear Leash live.. You can hear it referenced through the Borgata boots and the Philly show..
I'm gone ..Long gone..This time I'm letting go of it all...So long...Cause this time I'm gone

Oh shit, night #2 was epic man! Still one of THE best performances of 'Insignificance' I've ever heard. Gonna listen to that show today now that I'm getting all emotional over it!

I wanted one of these shows to be my first PJ show but I missed out on TM and did not have the funds to scalp (I was a sophomore in college at the time). I was so jealous when I saw Present Tense as an opener.

  • 9/30/05 renewed my faith in this band! True!

At the time, I was not thrilled with Riot Act and found Binaural still seemed to me to be their first poor effort.

The show packed a ton of energy and had a great mix of tunes! I was officially back from that moment on...

However, the Red Sox/Yankees stuff was annoying!

Agreed. That whole first set of that show wore me out. Nothing will ever beat Porch with Vedder right in front of our group. I'm not a big Insignificance fan, but that was a great version.

Still the best Pearl Jam experience of my life (and I've been lucky to have some great ones). Front and center both shows. My brother and I met Mike in the casino before night one. Just absolutely perfect and then followed by Philly. We still talk about it all the time. $250 each night and worth every penny.

    Killer Klausen poster too!

If I remember correctly this was one of the first GA shows they played since roskilde. Unless the Aus/Jap shows of 03 were. I remember when porch went crazy the mass of bodies began to move as one, a few people went surfing and I distinctly remember seeing the look of fear in Eddie's eyes. They were definitely not expecting that type of reaction or crowd, as evidenced by some of the comments you can hear on the boot. You could tell he wasn't comfortable with the movements of the crowd up front. I felt bad for him.

Still, one of the best concerts I've ever been to. I think I shelled out 3 or 4 hundred for my ticket.

And night 2 we got the limited edition
"red" ink borgata poster because Klausen ran out of the "hot pink" color.

True, but the hot pink was way better!
