I've been listening to "Broken Toy Soldiers" the last few days. I can't help but notice that more than three of the songs sound similar to well-known older songs. Similar in several different ways...sometimes it's instrumentation and chord progression, sometimes it's vocal style, sometimes it's instrumentation in combination with some riff...
Has anyone else noticed this?! :geek:
Not that I don't like the cd. I do!

I couldn't give you specific examples, but I understand what you mean. They have an "older" type of sound. Great band, and their second album is even better. Hope they release something soon!
