    Sorry for your loss. I lost my dad very unexpectedly almost 7 years ago. He was 55 yrs old. I'll never forget the sound of my mom's voice on the phone when she told me he had passed away. It was so unbelievable. He was there and then gone. He was such a peaceful but powerful force in my life. I miss him every day. I still needed him. I hope for you to have peace and to love a lot those you have with you.

    Thank you so very much for all of your kind words... He passed away in February, and it was in the middle of the big blizzard we had here in the Northeast. I drove to the nursing home in the middle of it that night. Couldn't see a thing, because my windshield was so dirty, but I didn't want to pull over on the highway, but had a chance to put some windshield cleaner in when I got off. I think someone had been watching over me. Mad it there, and he was having such a hard time breathing. We all made it there to hear his last breath. I'll never forget it. He was cremated back then, but we couldn't bury him until the weather warmed up, which was yesterday...

    Once again thank you all for thinking of me and my family. It really means a lot... I'm so sorry for your losses also...

    Love you all...

    No - going to my parents' for dinner. I haven't been to Flower Day, but it looks cool. They say you need to get there early - they often sell out by noon. I like to sleep in! :lol:

    I leave tomorrow on my final 8th grade field trip to Washington DC. This has always been my favorite and I am really going to miss it. My stomach is full of butterflies I am so excited for tomorrow!!! :D:D:D

    Did well in 2 classes so far, waiting on grades for the other 3. Papers were stressful, but I think (I hope!) they came out alright.

    EDIT: Just got another grade back, and did well in that class too! Wahooo! Super proud of myself this semester. Now just need to see how I faired in my 2 hardest classes.

    But now what's on my mind: getting a job. Gotta support having an unpaid internship!
