Strange question

I was listening to the 10/30/09 Philly boot today and they played Jeremy. During the curse word part, Ed doesn't sing it. I realized Ed never sings this part. Obviously he sings and says other curse words without an issue.

Why do you think this is?

Here's my theory... in the early days they had to play this song so many times on for TV broadcasts that it's now how Ed hears the song.

What's your theory?

    Yea this is what I've notice. He does say it but you can't hear it on the bootlegs cuz the mic is turned. We all know Ed has no problem swearing during songs.

    yea ed always curses there but let's the crowd do it sometimes.

    however, at one of the shows i went to... maybe msg 08? during EVERY chorus of leash he sung "drop the leash get out of my LUCKY face" .... EVERY time... honestly ruined the performance for me

    Pretty sure at the show he pointed to the crowd and we yelled it. Seems this has happened most times I have seen them play it.

    i think it's because in the 90s they were on MTV and there were lots of flashing lights

    seen this song performed twice live. he sticks up his middle finger, and we all yell fuck. Kinda like the hello part in elderly woman. Just that one word we all sing loud and proud. Love how the band lets us do that too. :mrgreen:
