    It was an update to tell people to join 10C. You're already in 10C. They did tweet out the Wrigley hints before it was posted on here.

    If you go to the main page (pearljam.com) there is a section on the left with the latest tweets from the band.

    OK, I'm already in the 10C. that's only specific to this particular update. that doesn't mean that I'm not potentially missing other updates etc

    I think that's my point. I really don't want to have to proactively check facebook and/or twitter - since I do not use either - to get the latest updates, especially when they used to send e-mails with this type of info directly to 10C members.

    I really just want to ensure I don't miss an announcement because I don't use these 3rd party websites.

    So my question is: are things like show/tour/album announcements going to still be e-mailed to 10C members as in the past, or do you need to check facebook, twitter or pearljam.com constantly so as not to miss anything?

    yeah I noticed after I said that that this only includes Tweets, not Facebook posts. If you aren't on Facebook you'll just have to rely on the forum; someone will make a thread immediately

    They sent out the email about Wrigley as soon as they announced it. You're not going to miss a tour announcement just because you're not on fb or twitter. This site reports anything within 3 minutes anyway.

    I agree, especially with the new lottery for buying tickets (which I am ok with). I also understand they are a business and need/want to have more members (which I'm also ok with). So, really, I suppose my agreeing with the original statement is just a selfish statement on my part because I want to be able to go to the shows I want to because that's what I like to do. :lol:

    And like the last statement, good luck to everyone in seeing as many shows as you can! 8-)

    Gotta admit I'm both excited and nervous...I can't go to a show outside of driving distance this year, and, right now, as long as I don't know the itinerary, I can still believe I have a chance at seeing the best band in the world in 2013.
