    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    Looking forward to meeting many of you at Waxy O'Connor's! Two weeks from today is when I'll be heading out from San Diego. I am staying at the Hilton near Wembley on the night of the show, but they didn't have any rooms for the night before when I booked there. It seems they have them now, but at a lot higher rate than I am looking to pay. So... does anyone have a suggestion for a place to stay that might be near Waxy's or AKA Bar for an easy walk back after a night of drinking on that Sunday night, the 17th? Looking for something in the $100 to $150 range... Thanks!

    Covent Garden one is central and i've stayed in it before, very close to tube stations and i think the AKA bar is a short walk from there (i repeat i think... i'll update that later) ok from the AKA bar to Covent Garden Travelodge its a tiny wee 0.1mile walk... check it here

    £49 for the night ($100) and the rooms are always the same, its the best price you'll get for central london

    Look at the beginning of this thread. There are two places. One for early evening and another for later.
