Just saw the email as well. It would be cool if they provided early access to posters and shirts for the show.

Did anyone get ever get official word on if show specific stuff was going to be part of the VIP travel package store?

I e-mailed them to see if 10 club members could access the store without the travel package and they replied no, but all merch at the store will be available at the show (implying nothing exclusive at the store in the W - just convenience of being able to buy early).

Is it me or does $75/person seem steep for BBQ and open bar?

That's about what a ticket to the show cost.

Yeah, I guess 4 hours of booze is the same as 2.5 seeing the band. If they sell the posters I'd do it though.

I could too. I think I could find somewhere better to do it though. And why does it have to be pairs?

If it's off a keg it would be tough to drink $75 worth. They're making a boatload off us.

If the 10C could guarantee that soundcheck would be going on during the BBQ, it may be worth it.

Won the 4 person travel package deal - REALLY hoping sound check will be going on during this. I think there's a good chance it will.

I don't know, in all reality probably not - especially with no opening band and would have all day the day of the show to do it. But would pretty fucking awesome if they did it while the happy hour/BBQ was going on.

The band was doing soundcheck on the Friday night before PJ20 during 10C ticket pick-up.

Has anyone thought of the possibility of the band stopping by in person to the happy hour???

Good point. Which I guess also begs the question - if they have the place to themselves, why not do soundcheck both the day before the show and the day of, especially in a stadium for a show of this magnitude, to make sure that sound is tight son?!

I'm on the fence. $75 might sound steep but I could easily eat and drink that much in four hours on the town. The issue is if it's lame and I feel stuck there knowing I've got the wide world of Chicago all around me.

What I'm trying to say is that this will only be worth it if there are hot girls there.

I think the likelihood of a soundcheck is high where an official meet and greet with the band would be low. I don't think the band really does meet and greets. I would love it since I'm already going to be there with the travel package.

On the other hand, if you were going to do a special show or a meet and greet, you would probably want everyone to have a chance at it and not just the people that purchased the entire travel package. So you would have a second lottery so everyone had a chance. Hmmmmmmmm......

How about this one.... The band is doing a soundcheck and lucky fans can make a request that gets called in from someone from 10C at the BBQ over to the stage. LOL
