I know I paid at least $250 for mine a bunch of years ago... ask me if you have any questions about the original press..
So far the 2 indications I've seen are differences in font size on the sides and the 2 white notches on the upper left of the front... my 2 original pressings have them, i've seen ebay pictures that don't....
The original is green....obviously if you are looking for a sealed one that doesn't help, ha.

Don't care for sealed! I wouldn't buy a sealed one unless I knew who it was coming from - and then I would open it. I open all my vinyls! Thanks for your help and kind words!

The band and management didn't have the authority to "license" this release as they didn't own the rights to their music; however, they were able to come to a compromise with Epic whereby the record label agreed to look the other way. Again, this was in the mid 90s before the internet and downloading and such so as far as Epic was concerned it was a good gesture towards a client on their roster that at the time was at their peak.
To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

back in 1997 or 1998 Zig Zag records in Staten Island NY had this on sale for $60. It actually sat on the wall for at least a year, until 3 or my friends threw down $20 each to buy it for me for my birthday.
it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...

DITP was the one in the deluxe box, and is as a result very available.
the soldier field is super rare having been such a limited pressing.
the sound quality is said to be 'OK'.
