    I've stopped waiting for them , i schedule my vaca around what's best for my family not what PJ are doing if they tour and i can make some shows good if not good also but there is no way i'm waiting to schedule my vacations around the band ....

    Gotta agree with you. In 2011, I kept waiting to see what the PJ20 news was, where it was gonna be, etc... by February we had to play our summer vacation... it was either Hawaii OR go see a Pearl Jam concert somewhere in a field in the midwest (rumors were Alpine but no one knew at that time what was happening). Well, we booked our Hawaii trip and PJ20 announcement didn't come out till I think May... couple weeks before we went to Hawaii. The moral is: I'm glad I booked that Hawaii trip and didn't wait on PJ info.

    This year, the fall tour doesn't really interfere with anything except WORK. I wish they'd do a summer tour one of these years... June and July... not April May or not Sept-Oct... but I can't hold my breath waiting for that. :)

    Its just a bunch of rock concerts. If the scheduling works then great if not, more $$ saved.
    I don't get why people get all worked up about the announcements. Which always seem to come at the latest possible moment anyway.

    lol... I was in this boat.. except it's first come first serve.. so now if Pearl Jam plays the first 3 weeks of Sepetember (in Vancouver and/or Seattle) I'm in trouble (unless it falls on a weekend).

    IE the problem with letting other people choose their vacation first is the dates they choose will end being the ones you actually needed off....

    I guess this is the disadvantage of a tour at end of the year. Vacation days generally reset on Jan 1st, so the further you go into the year, the more days are blocked off from other peoples Vacations....

    An early tour announcement would be very helpful. I have 4 unbooked vacation days just begging to be used to see a PJ show.

    HEY PJ!!! I think there is an ap for that!!! Ask LiveNation for some help. ;)

    Even if the new album is 'done' by Wiggly time, it will not be released until the hype machine has let it stew for a few months. That puts release date closer to Thanksgiving and the giving season. Oh yeah, thats surf season in Oz right?

    So give us a few dates, 15 to be exact. One of them being Denver (leave Mr Petty home this time, no need for a warm up act either). Also need to plan a date in Alabama. Someone down there is waiting and deserves a great show.

    I'm about out of cash, and the credit card is on life support already, so hold the merch to black shirts with the stickman and city dates. No flags. Two beer coupons with each ticket would also be nice.

    I have a few days off if you need me to start calling venues and giving them your riders.

    PM me and I'll give you my phone number. Dont want all these crazy, strangest tribe members to call me or I would post it now...

    Hang in there-announcements are typically 90 days before the shows.

    Its pretty much a given that PJ will be on "tour" between late September and the first weekend of November.
