When I was a kid,
most students walked home from school,
a few were bussed around,
+ there were bikes of course.
Nowadays, it seems lots of folks
have the time +/or inclination
to come to school to meet their wee 1s.
The local ice cream guys cash in on this:
on hot days there is a truck parked
right beside the school,
playing those bells the minute the kids are let out.
Parents don't stand a chance against that kind of salesmanship.
Cheers.
'Cause you don't give blood and take it back again.

He doesn't have license to sell it, so he drives around and gives it away when ever he see's a group of kids.
