Unofficial list from the kind contributors!

    Mansfield Night three - 7/11/03
    3:15:36

    Spectrum night 4 - 10/31/09
    3:11:29

    State College - 5/3/03
    3:10:22

What else do we have for bootleg running time on some of the classic long shows?

I guess we should start creating the list and modify as new times come in:

    So far:

    1) 3:15:36 - Mansfield, MA - 7/11/03
    2) 3:11:29 - Philadelphia, PA (Spectrum Night 4) - 10/31/09
    3) 3:10:22 - State College, PA - 5/3/03
    4) 3:04:02 - Gorge, WA - 9/1/2005
    5) 2:40:24 = Seattle, WA - 11/6/2000

Now we just add 'em in as we figure out the CD lengths.

    we need a 10th.

I checked Buffalo 2003, but it was only around 2 hours and 10 minutes.

Were there any other 3cd bootlegs out there?

Bonnaroo 2008 and Washington DC 2008 were 3 CD sets.

Like I said before, Stockholm 2012 was a long show and long boot. Don't know where to check it out though.

Are there any owners of the Bonnaroo 08, Washington DC 08 and Stockholm 12 bootlegs here?

Wasn't Grand Rapids, MI in 2006 a really long show?

Are we forgetting any dark horse bootlegs?

I own all three of them and will check out the run time later and update the list.

Good call on Grand Rapids 2006 - I believe that should be up there too.

I am guessing that MSG 2 2010 could possibly find its way up there as well.

Damn, forgot about some of those South American shows too. I can guarantee that some of those would be close, as well as some of those Canada shows in 2011.

I am a time nerd at concerts. Been to 19 shows with San Diego 06 the longest. I start my watch when the lights go out until the band bows. San Diego 06 was 2:52 if I recall correctly. Ed talked a lot(the Mr. Liggett speech before Long Road) that night. If they didn't cut out all the rambling, I believe this is correct. It was a great show also.

If it's not on 3 cd's it might not be short, but not long enough to make the top 10 :(

I checked Bonaroo and total running time is 2:34:17
    Washington 2008 is 2:34:44

Not quite long enough to make the list I don't think.

In comparison Vancouver 2011 is 2:28:53
    San Diego 2006 is 2:38:28

Some that come to mind (in chronological order)

Were there any long shows in 1998? 7/22/98? 9/11/98?

    How long was Buffalo 5/2/03

I almost forgot about the Hawaii show in 2006. That had to be pushing three hours.

    11/20/09?

    11/13/11?

What about PJ20 night two (rough estimate taking off time for encore breaks)?

    Stockholm 2012?

I have a video bootleg of PJ20 on Sept. 4th (night 2). It has the encore breaks edited out and comes in at 2:41:23. Not perfectly though. Tentative until they release the boot?

Spectrum III is on two discs so it won't make the list. Well theoretically it could. I think the max length for a CD is 80 mins. So two cd's is 2:40. The odds of the halfway mark ending precisely between two songs is slim. So I'm not even good look it up. :)

I had looked up the Hawaii show yesterday but it fell short, I can't remember the exact length. Spectrum III comes in at 2:37:24.

Basically unless it comes on 3 discs (or I guess the shows from the 05/06 tours weren't seperated out for discs), I think we've got a pretty solid list.

There's quite a big gap between the top 4 shows and the other 6 as well. I would imagine this would also be reasonably accurate for over all concert length, assuming the most encore breaks are similar in length (or proportionate to the length of the show).

I consider myself lucky to have been at two shows on the list (Gorge 05 and Seattle II '00) :)
