For all the concert nerds (meant as a compliment), what are the ten longest Pearl Jam concerts? I'm guessing they all took place from 1996 onward. I think it would be cool to create this list for the PJ community!

don't know on the order, but some of the longest I can think of:

Soldier Field '95, State College (03?), Gorge 05, Seattle II 2000, Mansfield III (03?), Last Spectrum Show....

State College 03 next? That one is listed as 3.1 hours on my itunes (if everything is labeled correctly)

buenos aires 2011, 2 h 45 m, don't know about last spectrum but they were 41 songs and over 3 hours, you can shed some light regarding the other shows...

Both AV PJ20 shows were longer or about same. I think night 1 was2:45, Night 2 3:00 give or take.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.
  • Buffalo 2013 was just over 2 hours and 45 minutes.

I measured it up with my watch... those who have the bootlegs may account for the time of the show they are saying it was one of the longest, which is in fact what you are asking...

Seattle II - November 6, 2000 - Clocks in at 2 hours 40 minutes and 24 seconds on CD. It ran just over 3 hours in person (I had been looking at my watch it was just a few minutes over 3 hours). So 20 minutes of encore space (is that average for a show)?

Gorge 2005 on CD is 184 minutes and 2 seconds which is 3 hours, 4 minutes and 2 seconds. Add 20 minutes of Encore time on and you've got 3 hours 24 minutes and change. (even longer if you add on the gap between the acoustic set and the main set).

Those two Seattle shows often get left off the list of the longest shows, but I'm pretty sure they're right up there. Especially the gorge show.

    In order. For example:

    Spectrum night four 10/31/09 3:41:25
    State College 5/3/03 3:37:52

Those are just some examples (the numbers aren't correct).

I'm just talking about the running time on the bootleg! I probably should have specified that.

Stockholm 2012 was pretty damn long - I believe that was just a shade under or right at 3 hours.

But as others have already said, the easy answers are State College 2003, Mansfield 3 2003, Gorge 2005, Philly 4 2009, Seattle 2 2000.

Both PJ20 Alpine shows gotta be up there too.

Unofficial list from the kind contributors!

    Mansfield Night three - 7/11/03
    3:15:36

    Spectrum night 4 - 10/31/09
    3:11:29

    State College - 5/3/03
    3:10:22

What else do we have for bootleg running time on some of the classic long shows?

I guess we should start creating the list and modify as new times come in:

    So far:

    1) 3:15:36 - Mansfield, MA - 7/11/03
    2) 3:11:29 - Philadelphia, PA (Spectrum Night 4) - 10/31/09
    3) 3:10:22 - State College, PA - 5/3/03
    4) 3:04:02 - Gorge, WA - 9/1/2005
    5) 2:40:24 = Seattle, WA - 11/6/2000

Now we just add 'em in as we figure out the CD lengths.

    we need a 10th.

I checked Buffalo 2003, but it was only around 2 hours and 10 minutes.

Were there any other 3cd bootlegs out there?

Damn, forgot about some of those South American shows too. I can guarantee that some of those would be close, as well as some of those Canada shows in 2011.

I am a time nerd at concerts. Been to 19 shows with San Diego 06 the longest. I start my watch when the lights go out until the band bows. San Diego 06 was 2:52 if I recall correctly. Ed talked a lot(the Mr. Liggett speech before Long Road) that night. If they didn't cut out all the rambling, I believe this is correct. It was a great show also.
