After the shows was over, I watched the ACDC Live at River Plate DVD: on the bonus features there was a radio show whose comentators were inteviewing some ACDC fans for the documentary, to show the world how Argentine ACDC fans were and look like. Some dude took a loan from the bank just to follow ACDC all over Europe. One of the comentaros said: "at last, someone takes a loan for something worthwhile". Not many things are worthwhile, if you have the chance, don't miss it and attend to wrigley...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0w36RujU4Y
Vedder le entrega un pandero a un joven de Brasil.

Fue un show increible , todavia me duele el cuerpo.

I love that they are doing the Not For You / Modern Girl combo. ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITES. Really these 2 go so well together, and I'm glad it's back. Hope to hear this at Wrigley or in the fall. Can't wait for some North America shows.
There's no need to say goodbye
  • I'm replying in English because most of the posts around here are in that Language.

I'm embarrassed of these kind of posts to be honest. Not only because Im argentinian, but because saying that my country (or that any country) has a 3rd world view and that because of that we are doomed it's just awful and speaks even more heavily about whoever wrote that and thinks alike.

I've travelled to Brazil in 2011 to see these 5 guys in the 5 shows over there, even though Im argentinian I was received with arms open, always someone looking after me, making sure I was ok... and I felt so fucking proud of being a 10clubber and having such nice people around. Simply because the whole union was only being fans of this band, and they took care of me as family.

So, even though Im incredibly proud of how faithfull argentinian fans are (and you can see that in the post it was dedicated as a header in this website to us as fans), I honestly hate to think we have to be divided by such stupid reasons as "chile sounded louder"
wtf.. are you some kind of audio engineer who can measure up the audio levels and hence bear the truth of who is a better fan?

I despise this kind of attitudes, the 10club is a family, does not matter where we were born.

Hugs to everyone from an Argie girl

PD: EDITADO POR EL JORGE PARA NO OFENDER A NADIE, Si Chile SONO mas Fuerte , asi sera. Todas las paradas en los tour son distintas. Brasil y Argentina disfrutaron otras cosas que en chile no estuvieron.

Well, im speechless to tell you how great was the show in lollapalooza chile 2013. I think that was the best sound i ever heard at the three times the guys plays in Chile. In my humble opinion this was the best show of all festival, the energy spread from eddie to the people was amazing, the band seem so many involved whit their crowd, and that makes the magic appear. I agree whit the argentinian brother who says WTF who was the best crowd. The only thing important is have the oportunity to enjoy a moment in our lifes whit the one of the greatest band in the rock history, that was amazing. This music help us every day in differents circuntances and see this live is priceless.

I lived one of the most beautifull days in my life, joined the band whit my wife and my two sons (4 & 15), tnaks for this great show and i hope have another opportunity to see my favorite band again.

Saludos desde el fin del mundo¡¡¡¡¡¡

First of all, I really have to appreciate the kindness of Lollapalooza crew with foreigners in the will call to withdraw the tickets. Even if I am brazilian, I don't speak spanish and the chilean spanish is much more complicated! hahahaha
But the crew were very helpfull with me. Really organized.

The venue was incredibly good. People sitting on the grass, having picnics while watching the concerts and the bigger quantity of parents with their sons and daughters in baby strollers/little kids/teenagers I have ever saw in a rock festival... a unbelievable vibe!
So the fisrt thing I did when I got in, was buying the Lollapalooza money. I spent like 60USD in Lollamoney and went to buy beer and................................. WRONG! The festival didn't sell beer! hahahahahahahahahaha
I have a lot of Lollamoney from Chile untill now because I couldn't spend all my money in Pepsi. LOL

But all the concerts I saw were really great. I enjoyed Kaiser Chiefs a lot. The band was really happy for playing. Queens of The Stone Age is my second favourite band, so I almost cried for they playing right before Pearl Jam. I couldn't watch all their concert, otherwise I wouldn't see PJ (the reason of my trip).

The sound quality in Chile was flawless. And the stage was high enought for everyone in the venue see the band.
I was on Mike side in front of a sound tower. So I was in a calm place, with the front view of the stage and could see the crowd in front of me geting crazy.
Present Tense, Juan Pablo and the fireworks in RITFW made this night tough task to be over placed by a gig better than this.

I spent 11 days in Santiago. The city is very clean, organized and the neightbourhood I was hosted was also very safe. Went also to Valparaíso, Viña del Mar and wine yard Concha Y Toro, where I saw the top of Cordillera de Los Andes covered by show - a breathtaking landscape... Chile has a very special place in my heart from now on. Definetly we all should come back to this country for the next Pearl Jam gig.

    Hey Nane!
So glad you've enjoyed the show and the city.
Did you tried our wines? You know, in the words of Vedder "El vino aquí es más rico que la chucha" ... something like "The wine here is better that F*@$%#&Ç!!!!".

What a incredible show gives us this band. It seems that it just gets better and better! I could keep traveling all my life to see them live around the world.
