Again, the complete overreaction to this is amazing.

It's obsurd but people have to find a way to entertain themselves I guess. It's really not a big deal at all. Don't like, don't buy. Simples.

To those who have purchased, I am curious to hear your reviews when the product arrives. To me these look thin and I question their safety.

I have to question the logic of this...no matter how many members you have the actual percentage of them who are vicars must be tiny.

I thought $40 was a high asking price, but was tempted to pick up a couple even though I don't have a dog. Looked highly collectible IMO. Didn't get any though. Just decided "nahhhhh, fah-get abowd iiiit"

  • I'm a middle school teacher, and there is a running joke at my school that if you put food in the staff lounge, any food, teachers will eat it. To test this theory, a couple of us tried to think of something that would disprove this. We decided to serve chili dogs for breakfast for the staff. Nearly everyone showed up and ate a couple of chili dogs at 7am.

I kinda think these dog collars are the 10C's version of our chili dog breakfast

  • I have to buy the Mother Love Bone one for our big blue Pitbull. His name is Augustino from the line in 'Stardog Champion': "Augustino, with his eyes like the shining sea"

    Kind of a no-brainer for us ;)

They are way too expensive. My cat's leather collar was 14 bucks and currently it's keeping the cone of shame around his neck in place. I rather use the money on the vet bill. I doubt he care's, he just wants the cone off.

I have to buy dog collars because he's too big for cat collars.

Last straw for me. I'm out. Membership cancelled. This "band" has lost the plot. They care more about selling crappy merch and playing occasional greatest hits setlists for festivals and cash-grab corporate events than they do about being artists. Sad thing is that they don't need the money like some up-and-coming musicians do. The more money they've made, they more they've sacrificed their ideals. It's a weird reversal. Dog collars? Seriously? Shameful and embarrassing. Selling out is one thing, this simply shows contempt for the fans. And it's hardly the first example, just one more in a long line of business practices that demonstrate that not only does the band not care about it's audience, they actively despise it. Enjoy the huge piles of cash, guys -- you won't be getting another cent from me.

Ok. I have reached my "last straw." Really? Complaining about $40 dog collars? If the merch pisses u off, don't buy it. If it pisses you off enough to say "screw it" to the band, you were never in it for the music anyway. So much awful shit going on in the world, and some just can't get their mind past $40 dog collars. Un-fucking-believable. Grow up!

There. Sorry if that brings this thing to a lock. I love the merch. Keep it coming! And if its something I don't like, I don't buy it and move on.

So much negativity in here about every little thing this band does. It's sickening. Good riddance and hope ur number was lower than mine. Sorry Kat for the impending lock over dog collars. DOG COLLARS!
