I remember a mention by X saying Sept dates 'with someone you'll love', or something kike that. Today, they got a little more specific and actually said the dates in Sept were for a national tour. Hope it's w PJ.

my money is on PJ, though I don't have much... X deserves a longer set, they had only 45 minutes in Buenos Aires, 2011, I've never heard the band before, I really enjoyed it, I wouldn't have minded an hour plus set...

Be surprised to see Pearl Jam do a national tour. Someone suggested NIN; that would line up nicely with the Made in America festival.

God I hope not. So many other bands would be better, so many.

I've never seen them live yet. I wouldn't mind seeing them this fall.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of
arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to
slide in sideways, BBQ sandwich in one hand, cold beer in the other,
body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "Woo Hoo what a
    ride"!

I really don't think the the PJ tour wil start until late September at the earliest. 10c seemed specific that it will be a fall US tour. If you want to get technical the first three weeks of September are still summer. This record also seems to be on a similar timeline as Backspacer was to finish and that tour started around Sept 20th.

I think October or November makes more sense for PJ, especially if that Voodoo Fest rumour is true. I hope I'm wrong but I don't think we get any official dates until after Wrigley. Two or three months seems to be their standard heads-up for US tours.

Yeah, seeing them nine times on the Euro tour was a bit much!

I agree, except I see the dates being announced early this summer. Maybe late May or early June.

Now you are talking. When was the last time they had two openers though?

i like X but oddly enough Sparta has been my favorite opening band in my decades of PJ shows. They blew the doors off of every arena each time.

Don't mind if they use X as the opener. Won't feel bad for skipping the opening band then. X is fine but they've used them a lot lately.

Yeah why else would they be acting so cryptic about specific dates and who they are touring with? Too much of a coincidence that a band they've been touring with lately (Pearl Jam) also has a fall tour announced but without specifics.
