    I like Irving Plaza too and was surprised that it wasn't on the list. Personally I prefer Bowery Ballroom better because it holds half the number of people :) I think Irving Plaza is about 1,000 capacity, Bowery Ballroom is about 500 but have had good experiences with both in terms of sound. I saw Chris Cornell one night at Bowery Ballroom with surprise guests Soundgarden, then saw Soundgarden the next night at Irving Plaza after I scored a ticket off Ticketmaster the day of. Mind blown. If that ever happened with EV/PJ I'm not sure what I would do with myself :D

    That Soundgarden at Irving Plaza was recently right? I remember trying to get to tickets to that not long ago and failing. Hmm. Starting to think I'm cursed!

    Nah, you're not cursed. I didn't get tickets initially and was so sure tickets would drop closer to the time but they didn't and prices on StubHub were going in the wrong direction. But somehow late afternoon I scored a ticket while on the phone on a conference call. Had been trying all day so when the ticket popped up I almost missed it and hit the back button but caught myself just in time.

    It's happened a few times for me now, the last minute ticket scoring, so I never lose hope if I don't get tickets initially, just keep checking :)
