Selling my PJ vinyl collection ~ Prices/Condition
Vinyl for sale! I hate to see these go but as I mentioned when I first started this thread, I no longer own a record player and these have been in storage for years. As much as I love just having my collection, it's time for these records to find some homes where they'll get spun and I need to raise some scratch for my upcoming nuptials and honeymoon in Hawaii. Most of my records have been unplayed, some spun a time or two. A few of the Christmas singles did see a good bit of turntable time, but for the most part the studio stuff has been played a few times at max or never played at all. I can say the same for the 45's and non-PJ stuff. I opened a lot of the records just to check out the inserts and artwork without even bothering to spin them. Anyhow, hopefully these can help your collections and find some play time.
I've spent some time on discogs and popsike for the past couple days and have some pricing for my goodies which I think is fair based on past sales, what people are currently asking as well as supply and demand. I avoided eBay for the most part as you only find super high buy-it-now prices. I'd bet if I'm off some Jammers will let me know...
I'm not sure what first class mail costs for shipping a 12" record and am guessing on the 7" stuff. If anybody can tell me accurately based on recent experience I'd be happy to offer prices for first class shipping as well. The $12.00 includes priority mail shipping, excessive bubble wrap packaging as well as insurance and delivery confirmation. I apologize to the international brethren but I did not get pricing for int'l shipping. If you want something and are willing to pay what I get quoted for shipping, I'm cool with that. I will ship priority or first class mail internationally as well with insurance and tracking numbers. If you buy more than one record, the shipping rate stays the same.
I do PayPal and it makes the transaction the smoothest and easiest. I work on the North Slope and head back in a week and will be at work for 16 days. Living in Alaska, I doubt a posted check would arrive before I leave so PayPal keeps it simple and avoids wait times.
To make this fair and easier on everybody, this is a first come first go deal. PM's will get seriously confusing as I have a lot records I'm selling so just reply to the thread with the album you wanna score, lay your claim and we'll figure out the shipping info etc. after. PM me your mailing info and I'll get back to you with my PayPal address. This way everyone will know what is still up for grabs. Two of them are pending sale.
