If we all sent them, they couldn't forget that people actually live down here!! 8-)

I saw a whole pile of Tampa ones in the recent deep mag - I assume that was you? :D

That's very possible. I did send some. :)

too excited not to post this before i go to bed...

just got my deep magazine in the mail and flipped to the mail section.... i can pick out at least 4 of my postcards in the pile, including the toyota center postcard smack in the middle of the page...

makes me feel like they're listening, and maybe, just maybe we'll get a show here in houston the fall... :D:D:D

also reminds me that i ran out of postcards 2 weeks ago (going on 3 now) and that i really need to get out for some more!

I also see a bunch of postcards from Tampa in the pile.... I assume that's you JUSTAM?? :D:D

    :D
I just noticed your post shep.

Can you believe that I cannot find postcards in Louisville???? Well, I did find some but they were singles....and cost $3 apiece. Maybe I'll try buying online.
Are we getting something out of this all-encompassing trip?

Seems my preconceptions are what should have been burned...

the only place I've been able to find them as of late is in the mall... and I hate going to the mall...

had to make a special trip there at lunch trying to avoid all the crazies.... however I realized that wasn't the best idea when I got inside the mall and realized all the people that shop there on the weekdays are housewives who pedal around in no real hurry spending their husbands money.... :fp:

I've been buying mine at 3 for a $1 around here, seems to be the going price.

I've noticed that there are several places that typically carry postcards->
    CVS, Walgreens, etc
Also, shops that are meant for tourists by the waterfront
    and
museums, aquariums, surf shops, national parks

Do you have any places like that in Louisville?

    Try them! :D

I'll take the South, but would prefer the Southeast.

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?

I still need to go out to Turner Field!

one ballpark is enough thanks, let's not encourage festivals and ballparks to be the new norm please!

(I know that's not what you meant amber, but still... :D )

Ahh.. my spewing disdain for the Astros at the moment.. yeah, not festival oriented, but WHY!!!! did they have to switch to AL?! Now, I can no longer see the Braves 3x a year in Houston. :( The closest place now is Denver, which in reality, isn't so bad.. /rant.

I wonder if we could make that into a postcard.
  • justamjustam Posts: 21,415
We could if we printed on card stock that was the right size.

We'd probably have to crop so it was the right shape too. :)

Let me look around. I don't think we need to have it done by a company. I can probably make them myself if I prepare the photo, print it on card stock, and then cut it to the right size.
    :)
