That present is awesome just for the fact that it mentions me :D
Absolutely!! :D I cracked up when I read it. :D

Maddi had a similar little thing in the card she made me :

When I am at school Mum is working. She works on the computer. She's got 2 computers. She does work for the ladies beads. She's good at computers and beads and I'm good at flowers and being tigers. She likes doing flowers - she waters them. She likes coffee and she drinks it outside. She likes to eat one of those biscuit things. She likes to watch the news on T.V. She's not scared of anything. I love my Mum.

LOL!!! Kids are so funny :D

Awwwww that's so nice, Susan :)
If your Mum's like me, she wouldn't have cared that she had to cook - she just would've loved having all her kids together for brekky :)

I hope you all cleaned up for her though? :D

She always cooks.....she loves it! She should have been a chef....and yes, I cleaned up!

Are you having a nice day?

I have this urge today to set up a herb/vege garden. The latest Bunnings catalogue has herbs and vegetables for $3 a punnet. And 2 year old rose bushes for $6.98!!!

But I just had a cone and now don't want to drive alllll the way to Bunnings which is 20 minutes away! :o

Yeah....I'm having a great Mums Day, ta :)

Now I want to go to Bunnings.....I'd better not though....it's my favorite shop and I ALWAYS end up buying 10 times as much as what I went there for :o
All 3 of the kids gave me a plant that they'd grown at school, for Mums Day and both the boys grew me herbs, so I've put them in the kitchen window :)

I always love the pressies I get for Mothers day, more than any other occassion. I've always said to Glenn, not to buy me anything for MD and that I'd rather get something the kids have made - they are the BEST presents!!!!!

Ohhhhh! That sounds nice! You've got good kids. I wish someone grew me herbs! I'm so easy to please....ha

I was at dinner last night and my brother Bruce rang and said my 6 year old niece had made me a birthday card so we drove by his house on the way home to get it! She made it on the computer and coloured it in and hand wrote the inside messages. Little cutie! :)

I'm still waiting to see my mum! she should be here in twenty minutes though.. I've made her afternoon tea, cake and cheeses and dips and all those goodies, and got her chocolates (fancy ones) and bought her a really awesome pendant from my store, which she picked out, so i know she's going to like it. yay!

I'm in agreeance with the rockingness of bunnings. I want to go buy some more herbs now too!!

    I agree on the commercialism comment! I'm a bit like that with most things eg; Valentines Day, annaversaries etc;

I do love getting the pressies my kids make though (as I've already said) :)
I still have every card, pressy and piece of wrapping paper my kids have made for me over the years!! They're so precious to me - priceless!!

Yum to Chinese for lunch!! I wish we had some sort of take away place here....I'm trying to think of what would be the easiest for me to get for tea tonight LOL! I wonder if the kids would be happy with toasted cheese sandwiches?? hehe! I doubt it.....

strangely enough, out of all the places ive gotten good old curried cat - our chinese takeaway has always been the best. they can cook it really nicely.

jay is wondering if he should cook dinner for me - since i didnt get breakfast because of my babysitting duties i mentioned this morning. Y'now, even if eddie got down on bended knees and begged me, i dont think i'd ever have any more kids :) too too hard and tiring keeping them entertained .....

i pull it out & try it every now & then

they stop making things as much as they get older tho :( you get perfume instead. I always pop into the store first and tell the girls what i like so when the boys go in they get me something nice ;)

don't hate me, but i'm a bit of a facebook addict (i'd say whore, but i'm not, i've no slutty photo's on there like some of those skank sluts). Anyone else in here addicted? I just went through and culled some friends. But since I don't know many people in here to well, i thought it would be a good way to get to know each other better! :)

My Mum likes to wear Pearl Jam shirts.
My Mum laughs when Sam and Rob sends Mum something funny.
My Mum likes to watch Pearl Jam DVDs.
I love my Mum because she's the best.

I was thinking about last night and pissing myself laughing today...kept getting weird looks from strangers
