There's nothing cool to do here....I'd need to leave Townsville to do anything and I can't do that because we're giving the residential division of my business a total overhaul which requires me and my dad working our fucking butts off (because we're the brains of the operation -- the residential staff are just "doers")...which means not doing my ebook and focusing on the marketing of that...which shits me off.
And Leighs madly re-planning his 8 issues of the comic so doing anything spontaneous and fun just isn't going to happen.
And we really can't afford to do anything fun. We've been living off my wage for 6 months already and now we've just found out Leigh needs to start the comic from scratch again to get it published which is another 6 - 12 months of full time drawing and inking for him....which is a big drain on the finances...not that I'm complaining about the comic....but realistically we're losing $50,000 this year with him not working so we've got to be careful.

I must say booking this trip and having something to look forward to has really lifted my spirits.
Not that I'm complaining....staying home to raise the kids is what I /we chose and I don't regret it for a second......but yeah....since Glenns been working away, I've really realised that some 'time-out' now and then is essential!!!
If you think there's nothing to do in Townsville, you should try Dwellingup I pretty much, just stay at home 24/7....and being crook for the last couple of weeks hasn't helped.
