    I saw Hendrix twice- once at Winterland S.F. in 1968 and again at an all day festival in Santa Clara in (I think it was) 1970. Then shortly after Jimi died I saw him play in a dream. He was was standing behind a podium just in front of me on a low stage, one spot on him, no one else there. He was playing new material, very focused like the way he played "Machine Gun" at Filmore East. It was very strange and wonderful becasue it was unmistakably Jimi playing things I'd never heard. After that, I don't think a holographic Jimi would work for me.

    how about living/live holograms? Either recorded or broadcast live.....a band could play every arena in the world at once. Could audio technology someday recreate the sound thru a PA accurately enough to make it like being there?....with a hologram band projected live on stage?

    Way cool idea! ...and yeah, I believe technology will get there in time. Seems like it's growing exponentially nowadays.

    PJ will play Texas. The sneak into Austin city limits all the time. Ed has family in Houston.
    It is very likely they will be living next time they visit. Will they tell anyone? that IDK.
