I'd rather they made a donation to a worthy cause in the name of Ten Club members than send out junk like this.
Shit - have a couple of annual lotteries for analogue members and send some fans to a show of their choice anywhere on the globe?
If you look at the cost in both money and carbon pollution of production and shipping to all over the globe, I think it is a total waste on items that are little more than junk.
That's my opinion and I'm well within my rights to have it. Doesn't make me want to be a 10 Club member any less and it doesn't change my idea of the value of a membership.
Your opinion is fine... I just think your expectations for a fan club membership are way over inflated. You keep bring up your age and maturity level as a reason why you dislike the stickers, but you sound like a child who was disappointed by what they found under the tree on Christmas morning.1996: Randall's Island 2 1998: East Rutherford | MSG 1 & 2 2000: Cincinnati | Columbus | Jones Beach 1, 2, & 3 | Boston 1 | Camden 1 & 2 2003: Philadelphia | Uniondale | MSG 1 & 2 | Holmdel 2005: Atlantic City 1 2006: Camden 1 | East Rutherford 1 & 2 2008: Camden 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 (#25) | Newark (EV) 2009: Philadelphia 1, 2 & 4 2010: Newark | MSG 1 & 2 2011: Toronto 1 2013: Wrigley Field | Brooklyn 2 | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2015: Central Park 2016: Philadelphia 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 | Fenway Park 2 | MSG (TOTD) 2017: Brooklyn (RnR HOF) 2020: MSG | Asbury Park 2021: Asbury Park 2022: MSG | Camden | Nashville 2024: MSG 1 & 2 (#50) | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2025: Raleigh 20 -

Well that's your opinion and a fairly immature and judgemental one at that, looking for a fight obviously by making it personal - I won't bite on that level.
But the annual gift is something we pay for as part of our membership. As an international member it is something we pay extra to be delivered around the other side of the world. As a consumer I am justified to make my opinion known and I did it in a respectful and honest manner.
As I said, if they are going to produce a gift that we pay for, i'd prefer it to be something more useful or not bother. For the effort and resources used to produce this, I'd rather see a donation made to a charity or some other benefit of my membership.
If you are unable to disagree with someone without ripping out ridiculous metaphors and making it personal, it says far more about you than it does me. Keep on trucking.0 -
And for the record, this is the only time I have made a negative remark or complaint about anything the Ten Club has done. How one not of feedback can result in being told to leave or being called an immature spoilt child once again, speaks more about those making such remarks than it does me. I'm comfortable in my skin.0

+1 for Paul Andrews

btw,i just notice, download bootleg code is only for Analog?
thought was for digital membership as well..
so with 20$ extra u get, free dowload,(cost 10$) deep magazine hard copy, single vinyl, and 2 times shipping (usa members only that, international we pay that 2 times shipping cost)
well, seems to me we must be happy with stickers..

really,we cant have big expectations...its really a gift..we get more than enough with that 20$ extra dollars
but..there are other options for gift that cheap, and lightweight,(for low shgipping reasons)
sign photo,sign postcards,band members picks,etc
hope next year, will be different the gift..."...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
"..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."

Nicely put Paul,
as a collector these items are always welcome, but i have to say I can understand your viewpoint on this.
I never received last years package, but it seems a little unimaginative to make the same one again, and I like the idea of the charity donation instead. Perhaps it could be optional
I wouldnt ever want to sound ungrateful or that i am complaining however, and believe I am generally very supportive of the club and what they try to do for what i would consider a difficult and at times rabid fanbase.
But Paul like anyone else is more than entitled to his opinion, and I would totally respect the way he chose to deliver it.0 -
thats a very good idea..pdalowsky wrote:and I like the idea of the charity donation instead. Perhaps it could be optional

No I'm not complaining about stickers. I'm making the point that I'd prefer the money and effort to be put towards something better; from a discount coupon to a lottery to really make a splash for on person to a charity donation. Based on the comments from plenty of other 10 Club members on social media, a lot of other people feel the same.0

Charity donations are awesome.
A good option for people who are unsatisfied with the analog membership is to go digital next year and donate the difference in price to the charity of their choice. Everybody wins in that case.Post edited by on2legs on1996: Randall's Island 2 1998: East Rutherford | MSG 1 & 2 2000: Cincinnati | Columbus | Jones Beach 1, 2, & 3 | Boston 1 | Camden 1 & 2 2003: Philadelphia | Uniondale | MSG 1 & 2 | Holmdel 2005: Atlantic City 1 2006: Camden 1 | East Rutherford 1 & 2 2008: Camden 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 (#25) | Newark (EV) 2009: Philadelphia 1, 2 & 4 2010: Newark | MSG 1 & 2 2011: Toronto 1 2013: Wrigley Field | Brooklyn 2 | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2015: Central Park 2016: Philadelphia 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 | Fenway Park 2 | MSG (TOTD) 2017: Brooklyn (RnR HOF) 2020: MSG | Asbury Park 2021: Asbury Park 2022: MSG | Camden | Nashville 2024: MSG 1 & 2 (#50) | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2025: Raleigh 20 -

Okay. I thought you called them junk and a waste. Must have been someone else.1996: Randall's Island 2 1998: East Rutherford | MSG 1 & 2 2000: Cincinnati | Columbus | Jones Beach 1, 2, & 3 | Boston 1 | Camden 1 & 2 2003: Philadelphia | Uniondale | MSG 1 & 2 | Holmdel 2005: Atlantic City 1 2006: Camden 1 | East Rutherford 1 & 2 2008: Camden 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 (#25) | Newark (EV) 2009: Philadelphia 1, 2 & 4 2010: Newark | MSG 1 & 2 2011: Toronto 1 2013: Wrigley Field | Brooklyn 2 | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2015: Central Park 2016: Philadelphia 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 | Fenway Park 2 | MSG (TOTD) 2017: Brooklyn (RnR HOF) 2020: MSG | Asbury Park 2021: Asbury Park 2022: MSG | Camden | Nashville 2024: MSG 1 & 2 (#50) | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2025: Raleigh 20 -
now you mention about 10c members here and in social media,if i can put almost all in one thought..Paul Andrews wrote:No I'm not complaining about stickers. most of people i read, understand and get that we cant expect something expensive ,something will cost alot as product or its heavy and cost alot for shipping, and the same time they want some different than stickers and patch..cos stickers and parch was the same as last year gift(different design tho) or they arent into this type of things..
the funny,is now we realise, how cool-useful was the Analog shirt the 1st year.."...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
"..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."

No I'm not complaining about stickers so to speak. Maybe your reading comprehension is not so good. I'm making the point that I'd prefer the money and effort to be put towards something better; from a discount coupon in the 10 Club store, to a lottery to really make a splash for on person to a charity donation. Based on the comments from plenty of other 10 Club members on social media, a lot of other people feel the same. And a lot have expressed themselves in far less gracious dialogue than I.
If you are such a sycophant that you cannot accept the smallest piece of negative feedback or constructive criticism about your beloved fan club that is your issue, nor mine. My record of honesty and tolerance in this club is there for all to see. My support and understanding of them over the years has been resolute. If you want to take issue over this matter and make it personal then as I said, it makes more comment on you than me.
And yes, I did call them junk and a waste, because to me, that is what they are. I also said I appreciate the skill in the artwork. I'd just prefer these 'gifts'to be something useful, rather than a token. A donation to a charity voted by club members would mean far more and do far more good that another set of stickers.Post edited by Paul Andrews on0 -

whooooah, i go analague not for the free gift but because i rather like the 7inch single and the Deep mag in the physical format.0 -
I'm not 7 years old so I don't play with stickers anymore and I don't wear denim jackets so the patch is useless.
Looks like they took a rejected concert poster design put it on a print and then chopped it up for the stickers and patch.
Just seems lazy and thoughtless to do the same thing as least year.0 -

I have an idea that might make you feel better about the situation.
There are many people who appreciate the stickers and patch and missed out on them or want more. Why don't you offer to send them to the first person who makes a donation to the charity of your choice?1996: Randall's Island 2 1998: East Rutherford | MSG 1 & 2 2000: Cincinnati | Columbus | Jones Beach 1, 2, & 3 | Boston 1 | Camden 1 & 2 2003: Philadelphia | Uniondale | MSG 1 & 2 | Holmdel 2005: Atlantic City 1 2006: Camden 1 | East Rutherford 1 & 2 2008: Camden 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 (#25) | Newark (EV) 2009: Philadelphia 1, 2 & 4 2010: Newark | MSG 1 & 2 2011: Toronto 1 2013: Wrigley Field | Brooklyn 2 | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2015: Central Park 2016: Philadelphia 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 | Fenway Park 2 | MSG (TOTD) 2017: Brooklyn (RnR HOF) 2020: MSG | Asbury Park 2021: Asbury Park 2022: MSG | Camden | Nashville 2024: MSG 1 & 2 (#50) | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2025: Raleigh 20 -
but really its not worth getting excited about - these are just stickers and whilst some people will find them cool, others might not and might have suggestions for alternatives
We are naturally grateful for what we get, and the fact that this is a freebie that is a bonus is something we must note.0 -
