Transferring data from facebook.com on 10C site??

For the past couple of days I've noticed that this site has been lagging, and when it is lagging, a little white banner comes up at the bottom of the screen saying "tranferring data from facebook.com". less often is says that it's transferring data from pearljam.com. What is going on here??? This is a new thing, and why would facebook have anything to do with this site?? It's making me uncomfortable. I don't want anything I post here to be connected to FB in any way, but that's what seems to be happening. Any ideas about what's going on, and what I can do to fix it? I'm worried that it's actually connected to spyware or something. I have already disable any add-ons that might be doing it, and that exhausts my ideas!

Thanks!

Yeah, but no one knows I'm PJ_Soul unless I want them to. Until it's somehow linked to my FB page! We can't have that - universes will collide!

I don't see any https://facebook.com transferring but do see a lot of https://s3.amazonaws.com transferring.

FB uses cookies and spyware to help them direct advertising to your FB.

Basically, when you are logged into FB, it uses tracking software to see what other sites you visit, then they collect the data, and put advertising related to all other sites you visit on your FB page.

I just open up a 'safe browsing' window exclusively for FB, and only FB. PJ.com is in a totally different window.

I think FB is the worst offender. I never see the 'downloading from FB' when I'm logged in here, only 'transferring data from community/forums/pj'.

I just remember to log out of any site that requires me to log in, or I open a different browser for general shopping/surfing, then clear cookies.

Not sure which browsers or software you guy's are running but I'm using FireFox with the add on "Ads Plus" blocker, and I don't see any spyware / ad-ware from Facebook at all. I don't see any advertising, cookies etc .. On IE, regular IE, it's garbage. Pure garbage. You don't want to use Facebook on IE.
