Transferring data from facebook.com on 10C site??

For the past couple of days I've noticed that this site has been lagging, and when it is lagging, a little white banner comes up at the bottom of the screen saying "tranferring data from facebook.com". less often is says that it's transferring data from pearljam.com. What is going on here??? This is a new thing, and why would facebook have anything to do with this site?? It's making me uncomfortable. I don't want anything I post here to be connected to FB in any way, but that's what seems to be happening. Any ideas about what's going on, and what I can do to fix it? I'm worried that it's actually connected to spyware or something. I have already disable any add-ons that might be doing it, and that exhausts my ideas!
Thanks!
Thanks!

STAYSEA is a great source of technical advice... :corn:
Well, speaking from recent experience...but your post hints at a deeper and darker knowledge of STAYSEA
Indeed.
No, but seriously, she knows about tech shit?? I'm just surprised.

Please don't get weird.
trust me tho....everything posted here is all over google.
Basically, when you are logged into FB, it uses tracking software to see what other sites you visit, then they collect the data, and put advertising related to all other sites you visit on your FB page.
I just open up a 'safe browsing' window exclusively for FB, and only FB. PJ.com is in a totally different window.

lots of sights do that shit...
i'll look at a product on a website, then go to yahoo, or the chicago tribune or wherever, and i'll see that product splashed all over the place :fp:

I think FB is the worst offender. I never see the 'downloading from FB' when I'm logged in here, only 'transferring data from community/forums/pj'.
I just remember to log out of any site that requires me to log in, or I open a different browser for general shopping/surfing, then clear cookies.
